ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

  • Responsible for safe operation of the G450 aircraft.
  • Responsible for conducting flights in a safe and prudent manner in accordance with, but not limited to the following items : Reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft.

The conduct of a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual. A complete check of weather and facilities along the route to be flown and airports to be used, including alternate airports.

Ensure the flight is conducted in accordance with the policies and procedures of Solairus Aviation and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.

Ensure the safety of all passengers, aircraft and crew.Accurate completion of all trip paperwork in accordance with current procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS TO BE CONSIDERED

  • Total time 3000 hours
  • PIC 1500 hours
  • MEL 1500 hours
  • MEL PIC 500 hours
  • Time in Turbo Jet 500 hours
  • Instrument 250 hours

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS

  • Type rated on G450or comparable aircraft
  • First class medical required.
  • Must be able to work on an on-call basis

Culinary experience and a passion for food required. Advanced Culinary training strongly preferred. This position provides an exceptional level of personal services to ensure the safety and comfort of aircraft passengers during flight.

Greets passengers, explains use of safety equipment, and serves food and beverages.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide a high level of service to the client while ensuring the safety and comfort of each aircraft passenger during flight.
  • Explain use of safety equipment in addition to serving food and beverages
  • Direct and assist passengers in the event of an emergency.
  • Verify that first aid kits and other emergency equipment, including fire extinguishers and oxygen bottles, are in working order.
  • Secure the cabin adhering to federal regulations prior to take-off and landing.

Required Qualifications and Certifications

  • Flight attendant specific training from FlightSafety, FACTs or similar is preferred. Annual recurrent training is required.

Candidates without formal flight attendant training may be considered based on other qualification but must attend initial flight attendant training course prior to flight assignment.

Preference shown to candidates who have completed FlightSafety, FACTs or similar training within the past 12 months.

Must be able to read reports, charts, manage post-flight paperwork, and to use a computer, smartphone and / or iPad device.

  • Hearing / Speaking : Must be able to speak clearly. Must be able to hear well enough to communicate over the phone in and person with clients and co-workers / pilots when the aircraft is in flight.
  • Standing / Walking : Must be physically capable and strong enough to walk and stand without assistance. Must be able to stand for up to 14 hours with limited ability to sit and be able to work long hours in various climates.
  • Climbing / Stooping / Kneeling / Bending : Must be able to kneel in luggage compartment, load trip, AC supplies and luggage, as well as maneuver in tight confinements within the aircraft.
  • Fingering / Grasping / Feeling / Strength : Must be able to push open / pull closed the main cabin door, which weighs up to 130 pounds, must also be able to write, type, use a computer and a phone as well as prepare / cook and serve guest food and beverages.

Must be able to lift supplies weighing approximately 25 to 30 pounds, from floor level to waist high repeatedly.

The Director of Finance is responsible for managing the general accounting activities of the business, and compiling and analyzing data to provide management with accurate financial statements and analysis which will be utilized in decision making and performance monitoring.

This position plays a key role in the establishment of and adherence to accounting policies and procedures as well as analytic support for financial reporting.

Essential Duties

  • Manage Staff of 8 Accountants and Specialists that handle all Solairus Corporate Accounting and Financial Reporting, Business Systems and Processes, Tax Compliance, Budgeting and FP&A.
  • Prepare and Review Monthly Financial Statement Package including explanations of actual versus budget variances
  • Responsible for the creation and preparation of the annual operating budget.
  • Develop and maintain solid accounting policies and ensure accounting records are current and accurate; ensure a strong system of internal controls exists and is monitored
  • Provides vision, leadership and guidance to direct reports and departmental staff; coach and mentor direct reports to ensure an energized, motivating work environment and desired business outcomes are achieved.
  • Partner with Client Accounting to ensure best practices, meeting of deadlines and data accuracy
  • Facilitate regular communications and team meetings with established agendas
  • Oversee Corporate Bank Accounts Reconciliations and Cash Forecasting / Planning
  • Review and Approve all Corporate Disbursements paid via wire transfer / ACH / Check
  • Human Resource Responsibilities : ADP timecard and PTO approvals, interviewing / hiring potential candidates, performance review management and career development objectives
  • Works closely with HR / Payroll department reviewing Payroll / Taxes and Benefits processes and coding
  • Oversee the analysis and reconciliations of PR Related Balance Sheet Accounts
  • Special Reports and Analysis on an ad hoc basis
  • Lead Certify desk as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • This position requires BA degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent coursework
  • Minimum of 10 years Accounting related experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail and excellent communication skills are required
  • Strong ability to multitask and prioritize workload
  • Intermediate Excel skillset required
  • Oracle ERP experience preferred or similar Accounting platform
  • Remote work location is acceptable

Salary range : $90K - $120K
