We are looking for a professional culinarian to be involved in the development of our kitchen, following our AKM & KM's specifications and guidelines.

The successful candidate will employ its culinary and managerial skills in order to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our customers’ satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Help in the preparation and design of all food menus
  • Produce high-quality plates both design and taste wise
  • Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards
  • Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation
  • Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Preferred Requirements

  • 2 years of experience. Sushi experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
  • Excellent record of kitchen and staff management
  • Accuracy and speed in handling emergency situations and providing solutions

We are a seafood and sushi restaurant in Arvada, CO. and we are looking for dishwashers RIGHT NOW! We need Highly Motivated, High Energy, Very Personable, Professional Team Members with kitchen experience but will train the right person!

Responsibilities :

  • Maintains a guest focus while performing
  • Assumes 100% responsibility for cleanliness of dishware
  • Load, run and unload dish machine
  • Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems to manager on duty
  • Monitor dish machine water temperature and chemical levels to ensure sanitary wash cycle
  • Wash and store all table and kitchenware
  • Maintain adequate levels of clean table ware for dining room and kitchen
  • Bag and haul kitchen trash to dumpster
  • Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss
  • Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies

Qualifications :

  • Be 18 years of age
  • Possess a positive attitude and work well with other team members
  • Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests.
  • Must be able to work unsupervised
  • Must be available to work between the hours of 8 : 00 am to 11 : 00pm
  • Thorough knowledge of health and safety rules in the kitchen
  • Must be able to stand and work for up to 4 hours at a time
  • Must be able to perform repetitive motion work without the assistance of restraints, braces or other incumbrances that limit range of motion or physical activity
  • Must be able to lift, move and shelve products and materials weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to work in temperatures exceeding 85* for extended periods of time
  • Be willing to follow direction and ask questions for clarification if needed
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
