The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven knowledge of the fashion industry and the ability to raise the creative bar through commercially-relevant imagery. The ability to work within interdependent teams is a must. The right person will have an understanding of the balance needed between artistry, organization, communication and cooperation to create visually compelling imagery while maintaining visual and technical standards.


Key job responsibilities
• Produce high quality images, ensuring they are color consistent and correctly exposed;
• Perform specific categories of standardized photography with a high level of competence;
• Work with lead photographers in the areas of lighting, visual aesthetics and technical problem-solving;
• Image workflow handling for ~3000+ files per day;
• Verify color accuracy and perform corrections as needed;
• Verify image standards are maintained and escalate issues to Photography, Styling, Coordinators, Inventory, Art Direction or Imaging team POCs;
• Use proprietary asset management systems to track and complete products meeting timeline needs;
• Troubleshoot on-set photography challenges decisively;
• Execute creative direction and articulate rationale for decisions in support of on-brand vision;
• Improve processes for studio performance against operational metrics and budget;
• Innovate ways to shoot new categories or initiatives;
• Upkeep studio equipment, props and supplies;
• Follow new processes and provide feedback to ensure successful implementation;
• Create customer-facing video assets for product imaging from start to finish.

Shopbop.com is looking for a Site Marketing Associate to join our Marketing team to support the successful planning and execution of our sitewide promotions, COOP brand marketing, and assist with the editorial content calendar. The right candidate will have an incredibly high attention to detail, strong organization stills, and have an ability to partner across teams successfully and effectively. This individual will support management of site content and content planning as well as building and QAing promotions. They will demonstrate a sound business sense, an ability to work quickly and under pressure, and be able to work in close collaboration with Buying, Brand, Editorial, Merchandising, Marketing, and Tech teams. In this role they will coordinate end-to-end customer-facing campaigns to drive engagement and revenue, and will pull business data to analyze campaign results and campaign-specific performance.

Key job responsibilities
• Coordinate the marketing plan for major sitewide promotions, including collating marketing channel asset requests, and completing creative briefs
• Build and QA sitewide promotions in internal promo tool, partnering with Tech teams as needed
• Support our brand COOP content program through calendar planning and close partnership with Buying team on offerings, feature coordination, and performance insights
• Support the planning and coordination of the site content calendar for Shopbop
• Own creative briefing for site content and content initiatives
• Coordinate reports & analyze weekly performance of content across owned and operated platforms to guide and shape recommendations for future content planning decisions
• Drive insights and learnings cross-functionally on content performance, including best practices and recommendations
• Lead improvements to the calendar planning process
• Daily QA of site content
• Collaborate with Editorial, Buying, Marketing, Merchandising and Creative departments to create daily content

Studio Ops Associate

Shopbop is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our Studio Operations Team. This entry-level role supports both internal and external customers by managing all inventory moving in and out of the photo studio.

An interest in fashion, designer name brands and delivering quality for customers is necessary for the successful candidate. The role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to handle competing priorities and tight timelines.




Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities:
  • Prep all inventory coming into the studio, including steaming and preparing inventory labels.
  • Inspect and repackage all inventory leaving the studio.
  • Act as the primary contact for warehouse staff in locating inventory currently in the studio.
  • Manage aging inventory to ensure inventory is returned to the warehouse in a timely manner.
  • Inspect, repackage, and receive all inventory returned from our New York Studio.
  • Ensure damaged inventory is not available for sale and is routed to the appropriate team.
  • Assist organization on feature shoots and special projects as needed.
