OVERVIEW :

SharkNinja, a multi-billion-dollar consumer products company, is seeking a Demand Planner for its NA business. This role can be based in Atlanta, Massachusetts, Minneapolis, the Demand Planner role is responsible for delivering a highly reliable forecast and driving speed to insights in order to deliver the best service to our customers at the lowest cost.

This role is also responsible for identifying opportunities for process and tool improvement; this role may be responsible for leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Here are some of the EXCITING things you’ll get to do :

Drive business results by conducting demand forecasting and analysis based on historical data, market trends and customer inputs.

Identify anomalies in forecasting model and make recommendation to improve forecast quality.

• Partner with Commercial Sales and Finance to gather relevant data and incorporate it into demand planning process. Maintain demand planning model & tool, utilizing statistical techniques and software applications.
• Collaborate with Supply Planning team to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize stockouts and excess inventory. Assess demand risk and opportunities, provide recommendations for mitigating risks.
• Be part of the transformation by partnering with leadership to develop and lead implementation of supply chain planning process to future improve the supply chain and drive enhanced planning maturity.

Develop a culture of accountability around maintaining key supply chain inputs that reflect actual performance as it exists in the current state.

• Strong analytical skills and proven experience in using data (KPIs) in a measurable way to achieve targeted results that are relevant to the organization.
• Experience with demand modeling, demand shaping, and allocation.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving skills, attention to accuracy & ability to reconcile various data elements.
• Strong business and financial acumen with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to risk management.
• Demonstrated capability of partnering with and influencing across functions, including Commercial Sales, Category Management, and Finance.
• Operate with a strong work ethic and an unrelenting resolve to follow through and meet commitments.
• A demonstrated willingness to learn, roll-up their sleeves and set an example for the team as a doer.

• Experience in consumer products industry is a plus.

OVERVIEW :

The position of Financial Analyst, Operating Expenses within FP&A will be responsible for working with Finance leadership and cross-functional departments in the business.

The primary responsibilities will include supporting the SharkNinja Product Development organization as well as working closely with our Engineering & Product Development teams on planning, tracking and maintaining expense budgets.

Reporting to the Sr . Manager, FP&A , this position is part of a dynamic team that works in a fast-paced environment, where keen attention to detail and an ability to effectively collaborate with your business partners are crucial to success.

Essential Functions

• Key member of the Operating Expense FP&A team, supporting Product Development
• Responsible for forecasting various elements of the P&L, creating processes & models where necessary to improve quality of insight & speed
• Partner with Product Development, Engineering & Program Management leadership to monitor expense activity
• Work cross-functionally to develop financial models for expense optimization
• Drive internal process improvements and continually identify opportunities for automation to allow the team to perform world-class analytics
• Build & generate analysis from a variety of different data sources and functional groups on a global basis
• Create analysis and presentations that condense complex topics into actionable information that is communicated effectively to the business
• Ad hoc analytics and other duties, including special projects, as assigned

ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS :

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in Finance / Accounting
• Previous experience with budgeting & analysis
• Able to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally
• Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships in a fast-changing environment with multiple customers and evaluators
• Highly visible role with the ability to effectively partner with and / or challenge senior leadership
• Comfortable presenting with strong financial acumen
• Ability to analyze large & complex data sets and translate into actionable information
• Proven analytical and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and be detail oriented with respect to ensuring deadlines are met without creating any negative impact to internal clients
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced Microsoft Excel / Office skills required, especially the need to have exceptional modeling skill in Excel
