Pipefitter/Welder
Essential Duties & Responsibilities - May include any / all of the following :
- Lay out full scale drawings of pipe systems, supports, or related equipment according to blueprints.
- Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems.
- Cut, thread, or hammer pipes to specifications using tools such as saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders, or pipe benders.
- Plans installation or repair to avoid obstructions and to avoid interfering with activities of other workers.
- Bends pipe using pipe bending tools and pipe bending machine.
- Secures pipes to structure with brackets, clamps, and hangers using hand tools and power tools.
- Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading.
- Assemble or secure pipes, tubes, fittings, or related equipment according to specifications by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering, or threading joints.
- Connects pipes using threaded, caulked, soldered, brazed, fused, or cemented joints and hand tools.
- Cut metal components for installation.
- Fabricate parts or components.
- Create construction or installation diagrams, draw sketches for pipe patterns.
- Install plumbing or piping.
- Weld metal components.
- Inspect, examine, or test installed systems or pipelines using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation or other methods.
- Lays out, positions, and secures parts and assembles according to specifications, using straight edge, combination square, calipers, and ruler
- Tack-welds or welds components and assembles using electric, gas, arc, or other welding equipment.
- Cuts work piece, using powered saws hand shears or chipping knife
- Melts lead bar, wire, or scrap to add lead to joint or to extrude melted scrap into reusable form.
- Installs or repairs equipment such as lead pipes, valves, floors, and tank linings.
- Observes tests on welded surfaces such as hydrostatic, x-ray, and dimension tolerance to evaluate weld quality and conformance to specifications.
- Inspects grooves, angles, or gap allowances using a micrometer, caliper, and precision measuring instruments.
- Removes rough spots from work piece, using portable grinder, hand file or scraper.
- Welds components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
- Heats, forms, and dresses metal parts using hand tools, torch, or arc welding equipment.
- Ignites torch and adjusts valves, amperage, or voltage to obtain desired flame or arc /
- Analyzes engineering drawing and specifications to play layout, assembly, and welding operations.
- Develops templates and other work aids to hold and align parts.
- Use safe work habits and operate safety equipment properly.
- Determines equipment and welding method, applying knowledge or metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques.
- Examine workpieces for defects.
- Measure workpieces with straightedges or templates to meet specifications.
- Primarily uses stick welding 60-10 and 70-18. Need to be able to certify in 6G position.
- Documents tests and inspection dates and results.
- Maintains inventory records for welding supplies used and utilized on jobs.
- Use straightedges, combination squares, rulers, and calipers to lay out, position, alight, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly.
- Operate hand and power tools such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment.
- Completes work orders, list materials issued and used, and documents work repairs.
- Assists area staff as needed.
- Ensures that management is appropriately informed of area activities and of any significant problems.

Job Description
We are currently looking for a Warehouse Driver to join our Warehouse team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Loading, unloading and driving stake-body, pick-up trucks and vans
- General warehouse maintenance
- Proper vehicle care and reasonable maintenance
- Complete tool room management including, but not limited to, shipping / receiving, tracking, and inventory
