Director of Finance

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are searching for a highly-analytical director of finance to oversee our company’s financial planning and accounting operations.

In this position, you will not only be an accomplished accountant and proactive with company finances but will also be strategically knowledgeable and aware in order to provide advice on the best path of growth for our business.

Your duties include establishing targets, developing budgets, and performing financial analysis. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with outstanding interpersonal and leadership abilities.

Your ultimate goal will be to guide the company towards profitability and success.

Responsibilities :

Oversee the financial strategic planning of the company by evaluating its performance and potential risks.

Perform regular financial analysis.

Develop budgets that meet the requirements of company departments.

Establish targets and manage all accounting and finance employees including management accountants and external auditors.

Supervise all audit and internal control processes.

Prepare detailed reports on the company’s financial performance.

Guarantee compliance with all financial laws and guidelines including but not limited to GAAP.

Recognize patterns in company spending, revenue, and recommend solutions to any problem areas.

Coordinate with external financial entities on behalf of the company.

Skills :

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or relevant field.

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial management.

Current CPA licensure

In-depth knowledge of accounting software, accounting principals, and financial analysis.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

An analytical mind with good organizational skills.

Outstanding leadership skills.

Software

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Knowledge and proficiency in QuickBooks, Salesforce and Tableau a plus but not required

Supervisory Responsibility

Manager of Accounting reports directly to this position.

Controller

Tulsa, OK

Seeking a highly energetic and enthusiastic individual to fill the position of Controller . This is an excellent opportunity to be a key player as this company implements process improvement, software upgrades and integrations.

The Controller is a high profile position and interacts with all levels in the organization. The position will report directly to the owners and will be assisting with oversight of all aspects of the accounting cycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Assist with all activities and procedures required to maintain the accounting system and to ensure reasonable periodic financial reports are provided in accordance with GAAP.
• Responsible for the management and oversight of employees in the accounting department, including, involvement in recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, training, evaluation, and disciplinary actions.
• Lead and oversee all activities to ensure deadlines are met pertaining to month-end close.
• Assist with review of weekly cash forecasts and check payment runs, as needed.
• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Manage month-end close schedule and invoicing targets, including overseeing the sales invoicing cycle and ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly in a timely manner.
• Control all general ledger transactions by reviewing accounts payable, fixed assets, accounts receivable, journal entries and all operations that effect the trial balance.
• Prepare, analyze and submit monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports to management.
• Coordinate financial audits as required.
• Ensure financial records, interdivisional accounting, and record-keeping are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
• Responsible for capital asset tracking and control.
• Support management with ad hoc and regulatory reporting requirements and accounting-related correspondence requests.
• Continuously manage and support budget and forecast activities.
• Monitor and support taxation issues, in particular multiple state sales and use tax filings and property tax schedules.
• Conduct special projects and other duties as assigned by the owner.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• Five + years of high-level accounting experience.
• CPA certification is a plus
• Prior work experience within a manufacturing environment would be highly advantageous.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel involving spreadsheets and formulas is essential.
• Highly proficient in accounting-related software applications with preferred experience in a system implementation and / or upgrade.

Manufacturing Engineer

• Able to develop new BOMs and Routings in the ERP (Made to Manage right now) and create processes to build the product in collaboration with internal team members.
• production management, quality, supply chain, planning, maintenance and product engineering
• Assembly methods, Test Equipment, Tooling Design and process mapping.
• B.S. in Industrial, Mechanical or other Engineering and +5 yrs. exp in the Engineering / Manufacturing field preferred.
• Understanding of Hydraulic systems a Huge Plus.
• Prefer strong flow / lean / continuous improvement skills.
• Ability to lead and drive changes on the manufacturing floor in terms of :
• Corrective Actions
• Process Upgrades
• Sustainment of Continuous Improvement

Compensation : Depends on Experience. $55k to 90K base
