How You Will Make Contributions That Matter...

The AR Claims Specialist will be responsible for verifying the validity of customer claims (trade and non-trade deductions) by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade, and customer service departments.

The Claims Specialist's primary role is to ensure that customer claims are identified and analyzed in compliance with trade contracts and properly expensed within the trade budget.

The Claims Specialist will be responsible for auditing claims, dispute management, internal negotiations, and trend analysis.

Specific responsibilities include :

  • Identification, quantification and analysis of customer claim issues and trends, and timely documentation of efforts and status in SAP Dispute case notes.
  • Understand customer contracts and communicate non-compliance to supervisor.
  • Manage a customer portfolio of claims, evaluate customer disputes for validity and ensure proper documentation of available to support either repayment from the customer or issuance of credit to clear A / R.
  • Prepare customer adjustments and reconcile cash on account.
  • Provide management with monthly metrics and variance analysis.
  • Work closely with the Sales organization, Customer Service, and other members of corporate operations, as needed, to resolve issues and disputes.
  • Continuous improvement of the claims management process. Effective reporting to keep stakeholders aware of claims activity and ensure accountability.

Understand customer requirements. Participate in routine cross-functional meetings to understand key customer issues. Assist manager in developing plans for customer corrective action and monitor results of actions taken.

  • Update claims processing procedures, as appropriate.
  • Performing other related duties as required.

You Are Best Suited For The Role If You Have...

  • Bachelor's degree in Business preferred.
  • SAP FSCM Dispute Management (TPM / Vistex) experience.
  • Minimum of 3 or more years' experience in deduction processing in consumer-packaged goods preferred. Candidate should also have critical problem solving, fact-based, and quantitative analysis experience.

Must have strong telephone skills and ability to maintain positive rapport with customer.

  • Must be able to understand account reconciliation, finance, critical reasoning / thinking, and ability to convert data into insights for management, project management, and cross- functional collaboration / influencing skills.
  • Demonstrates ability to draw some observations and risk conclusions. Understands the importance of cash flow.
  • Must be able to work and communicate with all levels of management. And have a collaborative approach
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills that will allow them to express key points in a clear manner.

  • Possess strong analytical skills to administer and analyze customer claims
  • Have strong data mining computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office
  • Be a strong team player who can work across multiple functions and disciplines
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Brand Marketing Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment to assist in the development and implementation of business and marketing strategies to drive profitable growth for the Saputo Specialty Cheese portfolio of brands.

The ideal candidate will be versatile and know their market, portfolio, and consumers better than anyone else. They will have strong, analytical, leadership and communication skills and be highly attuned to both the competitive environment and pop culture.

They will be detail oriented and be capable of managing complexity across numerous stakeholders to deliver results on time, with excellence.

How you will make contributions that matter...

Brand Business Management & Analysis :

  • Assist in the development of brand positioning and multi-year strategies for assigned brands.
  • Use consumption / panel and shipment data, sales performance, and financial analysis to understand key business metrics;

report and make recommendations to improve performance of assigned categories / brands

  • Prepare periodic business reviews, market assessments, and ROI / performance analysis to help develop selling stories, recommend actions to improve business performance, and to track and measure results.
  • Partner with Marketing Director and Trade Activation Mgr. on budget management for Specialty channel, including a monthly reconciliation of budget actuals.

Marketing Communications Planning and Execution :

Lead the development and implementation of integrated marketing plans to drive brand equity, build active share (penetration) and re-activation (repeat purchase) for assigned brands;

ensure alignment and clarity with cross-functional teams.

  • Serve as day-to-day lead with agency partner for assigned brands, working together to develop and execute breakthrough programming that will support strategic growth priorities.
  • Facilitate all reviews of marketing communication content with internal Saputo stakeholders, including, but not limited to corporate communications, sales, and legal teams.
  • Lead measurement of marketing program effectiveness with a ROI lens, making optimization recommendations, where needed.
  • Work closely with Trade Activation Manager to adapt (assigned) brand strategies for retail channel and mobilize to drive business results.

Subject Matter Ownership :

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in media (digital, print, broadcast, trade, etc.), PR and owned properties (social & website) to advance Saputo's Specialty Cheese marketing plans.
  • Attend and participate in learning opportunities (webinars, conferences, etc.) to seek out innovative techniques in marketing, merchandising (both in-store and digital) and eCommerce;

share trends back with key internal stakeholders (Brand, Sales, Category teams, etc.), where applicable.

Innovation :

  • Work closely with category management team, R&D, culinary and packaging teams to craft long-term brand innovation strategy, including vision, objectives, guardrails & future pipeline.
  • Lead innovation and renovation commercialization launches to sales and end consumers, working with the category management team as they lead projects through the stage gate process for assigned categories, ensuring a successful launch, and performing post-launch analysis.
  • Lead changes to base product and packaging, to ensure brand optimization, working closely with the specialty cheese category management team.

Event Activation Oversight :

Support management of and / or provide oversight of assigned trade and customer events, planning, and organizing all necessary products, props, travel logistics and communications to internal and external (supplier) attendees.

  • have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
  • have a minimum of 5-7 years' experience of relevant CPG or similar experience
  • have experience managing multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment.
  • are an independent and proactive contributor that can excel in changing and ambiguous situations.
  • have the ability to analyze relevant data, insights, and information to identify opportunities and develop strategy and plans to address.
  • are an excellent communicator and collaborator with the ability to champion brand plans, priorities, and strategies effectively.

  • have demonstrated ability to develop and cultivate relationships.
