Description
The Occupational Therapist provides direct patient services that may include identifying, evaluating, diagnosing, and treating.
This position also provides indirect services including consulting, advising, teaching, and training patients and their caregivers.
Scope
As an Occupational Therapist you need to know how to :
Evaluate a patient upon initial encounter to determine need for occupational therapy intervention and make referrals to other treatment team members as deemed appropriate.
Plan occupational therapy treatment program for each patient, based upon interpretation of evaluation results; interpret evaluation findings for patient, family, and treatment team members.
Develop realistic goals with patient input; explain treatment plan and goals to patient.
Implement treatment or supervise treatment provided by Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, or occupational therapy student.
Delegate routine care to supportive personnel as appropriate.
Terminate occupational therapy services when patient has attained maximum benefit from occupational therapy; provide in-service education to members of treatment team to ensure follow-through of treatment program.
Evaluate, record and report on a patients progress for review by other members of the rehabilitative team.
Communicate effectively with physician, other members of rehabilitation team and others as indicated regarding treatment plan and patient response to plan.
Complete all required documentation thoroughly and in a timely manner.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy, required
Current license as an Occupational Therapist in the State of practice, required Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association, required At least one (1) year of experience in a setting serving the same age / type of patient population served by this facility or department, preferred
Critical Care Experience, strongly preferred

Receptionist
Description
Greets customers, answers telephone calls, takes messages, and forwards calls. Distributes and explains paperwork or forms to customers.
Provides clerical support to the office or department.
Work Schedule : PRN; require flexibility for coverage on weekdays; shifts may vary.
Scope
As a Receptionist / Medical Secretary you need to know how to :
Answer and route phone calls; Assist with maintaining accuracy of printed program materials for visitors and patients.
Assist with office supply orders.
Provide clerical support to administration, including typing, copying, filing, assembling reference materials.
Assist other departments with special projects or requests.
Print out MMACS, CDIOP, BHIOP, TMS and direct admit patient forms.

Maintain data entry of room reservations, maintenance requests, logbook for keys signed out and special function request

Senior Financial Analyst
Description
This position provides analysis and reports related to the budgeting, strategic planning, activity based costing, variance, patient accounts and operations data, and ad-hoc analysis processes which are used to ensure sound financial operations.
This position provides decision support to management. Performs duties under initial close supervision, then after training performs routine tasks with general review.
- Able to conceptualize and create effective data extracts from both the GL and Decision Support systems to analyze specific cost structure, payer, service line or other issues.
- Conceptualize, structure and perform other analytical projects as required.
- Develops and tests complex projection models.
- Communicates effectively with site and system financial leadership to establish key financial variables requiring special analysis.
- Responsible for managing scope and completion of work, meeting deadlines, and providing deliverables to the customers or end users.
Maintains project management information system (PMIS) data on individual capital construction projects. Maintains technical expertise and competency in PMIS and other software programs required for the position.
Coordinates and maintains processes for effective capital construction project budget preparation, tracking, monitoring and reporting.
Maintains processes for monitoring, analyzing and tracking Planning
- Construction operating budget and expenses.
- Ensures all capital construction project contract documentation is completed properly. Maintains filing systems for executed contracts, certificates of insurance and performance and payment bonds.
Assists in legal reviews of standard contract terms.
- Defines optimal financial model structures based on site-specific financial projection issues.

Minimum Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required

Room Service Call Center Representative
Description
As a Room Service Call Center Rep, you need to know how to :
- Answer all incoming calls and dispatch requests.
- Receive incoming calls by the third ring in a courteous, professional manner.
- Efficiently organize all calls and request for timely dispatch.
- Have knowledge of medical departments and their functions of operations.
- Process Room Service orders via the telephone using a touch screen menu program.
- Adhere to all diet prescriptions when processing orders.
- Educate patients on menu choices and respond to questions about selections.
- Handle up to 250 inquiries for patient meal orders, patient transport, and housekeeping / EVS job requests.
- Operate web based patient tracking applications, accurately entering orders and within prescribed timeline.
- Initiate courtesy call to the requestor to change priority when jobs are out of scope.
- Consolidate the housekeeping / EVS and transport schedule to verify all assigned employees are logged into the TDSS systems.
- Assist patients with telephone call-backs.
- Ensure that all ADA diets are entered at designated times.
- Enter all non-select meals according to nursing unit timeline.
- Train users at facility on TDSS program to create and close out work order.
- Communicate with Nursing about patient diet clarification or appropriateness for room service.
- Communicate with dietitian or manager regarding patients meal needs.
- Review computerized records to determine which patients have not placed an order and initiate telephone or personal contact as appropriate.
- Accurately enter floor stock requisitions in Health Touch to ensure correctly billing.
- Monitor alerts patient refrigerator temperatures on the unit kitchens daily and take appropriate action if they are out of compliance.
- Initiate system down time procedure when appropriate.
- Initiate Occurrence Reports as necessary.
- Restock nursing unit waiting rooms with coffee supplies.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent, required. Related experience or education demonstrating knowledge of regular and modified diets, including the carbohydrate-counting system, required.
Excellent communication skills, required.
At least six (6) months of call center experience, preferred.

Environmental Services Tech
Description
This position is responsible for performing general housekeeping tasks to maintain the facility and associated buildings in a sanitary, safe, and attractive condition and to meet hospital and Joint Commission standards.Scope
1.Cleans patient rooms or dismissal units; duties include but are not limited to disinfectingall surfaces, emptying trash, cleaning of sinks, counter areas, shower and toilet, dusting, mopping and vacuuming, restocking paper products and shampooing the carpet.
2. Disinfects all public areas duties include but are not limited to sinks, toilets, washing walls, damp mop, and refill paper products, stairwells, damp disinfecting all areas, disinfecting handrails, replacement of blinds and shampooing carpets, buffing or waxing of floors in areas where needed.
3. Follows proper procedure for separating regular waster versus biohazardous waster, disposal of needles, and storage of clean and dirty linens.
4. Cleans Ancillary areas duties include but are not limited to wearing back pack vacuum, cleaning restrooms, trash disposal, damp disinfecting
5. Disposes of Sharps container per policy (at certain care sites).
