As Mechanical Design Engineer with Sciaky, you will be responsible for design, research, prototyping, engineering documentation, and participating in process improvement activities.

The successful candidate will report directly to the manager of the mechanical engineering team and collaborate with other departments (such as purchasing, operations, program management and manufacturing) on ongoing production and R&D projects.

This position is based at our Chicago office (near Midway Airport) and offers a complete and competitive compensation and benefits package.

  • Qualifications -BS Mechanical Engineering; -Minimum 3 to 5 years relevant engineering experience in machine design & integration;
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and sketches; -Understanding of design / manufacturing process; -Understanding of engineering theory and principles of design;
  • Ability to work independently and with others; -Good oral and written communications skills; -High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual or difficult;
  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others; -Ability to apply engineering principles to design, test and other engineering procedures;
  • Knowledge & prior experience with engineering CAD and analysis software (Preferably CREO-Windchill) Powered by JazzHR
