About the role
We are looking for a motivated Packer-Courier to join our team! Savory’s Packer-Couriers are an integral part of our Operations team : successfully delivering and setting up completed orders, while encompassing the full Savory spirit and providing high-quality service to our clientele.
In addition, the Packer-Courier will also be responsible for communicating any on-site / off-site issues with transport, order fulfillment or client dissatisfaction to supervisors.
This role is a key addition to our growing team. Here are some examples of the primary responsibilities of our Packer-Couriers :
- Pack, deliver, and set up completed orders to client specifications and Savory standards
- Create labels and stickers for client orders with specific requests or dietary needs on all daily orders
- Work with Logistics, Culinary, and Facility Management to help guide all daily and weekly orders
- Build and foster relationships with our clients
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and managers, always looking for solutions
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge about Savory’s services and menu options

Your experience should show us the following :
- Work experience in high volume catering, restaurant, or hospitality environments and / or packing and warehouse experience
- A keen eye and close attention to details
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Prioritization, organization, and management of multiple tasks
- Familiar with understanding and fulfilling BEOs is a plus! Willing to train the right candidate.
Job requirements :
- Ability to lift, carry, or pull up to 50-70 pounds
- Capability to maintain a stationary position, often standing for prolonged periods in varying temperature conditions
- Flexible availability including early mornings and day shifts
