The Job :

  • Manage the nursing care for all patients in assigned unit during your shift
  • Delegate the shift’s tasks to all of the nurses in the unit and coordinate with physicians who might need assistance
  • Recognize changes in patients’ condition and respond appropriately
  • Supervise Nursing Aides as they complete their assigned tasks and point out any changes or improvements that need to be made
  • Detect any issues that could result in injuries or other difficulties for patients or staff members
  • Inform physicians of any changes in patients’ progress, condition or medicinal needs

Shifts Available :

  • Day Shift (6 : 00a - 6 : 30p) - FULL TIME : Sat. Sun. & Wed.
  • Day Shift (6 : 00a - 6 : 30p) - FULL TIME : Sat. Sun. & Thurs.
  • Night Shift (6 : 00p - 6 : 30a) - FULL TIME : Thurs, Fri & Sun
  • Night Shift (6 : 00p - 6 : 30a) - FULL TIME : Fri, Sat, & Sun

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Ability to successfully pass NABS fingerprint background screening and drug test.
  • Active, Unencumbered, Non-Probationary Nevada Registered Nurse Credential.
  • CPR / BLS Certification
  • RN License

Preferred Qualifications :

  • 2+ years of Nursing Experience.
  • 1+ year experience in a skilled nursing facility.

  • Disassemble damaged and broken equipment so that it can be more easily repaired, then reassemble pieces after repair work has been successfully completed.
  • Maintain grounds and common areas to ensure they are operational, safe and clean for our residents.
  • Use hand or power tools to disconnect, connect or adjust tubing, wiring and other parts as needed.
  • Receive work orders and determine what parts, equipment and services are needed to perform necessary maintenance and repair work.

Job Skills & Qualifications Required :

  • High school diploma or equivalent Knowledge of basic maintenance functions, including basic electric, painting and HVAC.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds without assistance
  • Preferred : Prior experience working in general maintenance, plumbing or HVAC.
  • Full-time Benefits : Medical, Dental and Vision, 401K
  • Must have current / valid level 1 fingerprint card or be able to obtain one.
