We require an experienced cook who is familiar with a wide range of cooking techniques, including poaching, braising, roasting, charbroiling, sautéing, grilling, frying, and baking.

Responsibilities :

• Guarantee that quality food is supplied, by adhering to specified storage and waste control requirements for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products
• Grill, broil or saute menu items according to standard recipes and presentation specifications
• Keep all workstations, counters, cooking equipment, and refrigerators clean and sanitary according to health and safety rules
• Establish a system of food stations and stock them with all of the necessary ingredients for the shift

Qualifications :

• Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
• Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic
• Must be able to meet all safety and sanitation requirements of kitchen equipment and food storage
• Previous experience working in food service is preferred
• Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certificate

S and S are seeking motivated personnel to perform security services at various locations in the Kansas City area. The qualified candidates will have the opportunity to work at some of the premier events and locations in town.

These positions began as temporary but will develop into permanent assignments. The hours are flexible and we will work with your schedule.

The pay for these positions is commiserated with the candidate's experience. You must be in good physical condition as there will be times when you will be standing quite a bit.

Compensation : $14 - $18 hourly

Responsibilities :

The qualified candidate's duties will include :

• Securing the premises and personnel by staying on patrol
• Monitoring surveillance equipment
• Performing building inspections
• Guarding entry points, and verifying visitors

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Being a visible deterrent to crime.
• Identifying suspicious behavior.
• Contacting and communicating with the authorities.
• Monitoring access to properties.
• Taking action in emergency situations.

Qualifications :

• You must be 21 years of age
• You cannot have any active warrants
• You cannot have a felony record
• You must be of sound mind and have no history of mental illness
• You must be in good physical condition

Catering Team (FOH and BOH)

Searching for full-time or part-time highly motivated individuals to help staff our catering needs for events in the Kansas City area.

Catering experience is a plus but not mandatory. Individuals must be highly motivated and express a great attitude. Don't forget that smile! Training is available for all positions!

Compensation : $16 - $18 hourly

Responsibilities :

• BOH (back of house) to include prep and setting food and or drink displays
• FOH (front of house) to include table setting and serving
• Buffets and table
• Taking the trash out / cleaning up service
• Come dressed for success
• Training available

Qualifications :

• Experience with catering is not required but is a plus
• Food handling licenses may be required for some events
• Great Attitude
• Able to stand / walk for long periods
• Always professional with guests and team
