Overview

Provide research, analysis and project management support to the Finance and Investor Relations teams with the goal of increasing shareholder value and positive interest within the investment community.

Coordinate and assist with investor presentations and communications. Support day-to-day operations by serving as a key point of contact for investors and the sell-side research analyst community.

Provide logistics support by coordinating complex calendars and schedules, handling incoming phone calls, and communicating with internal staff, management, and external constituents, including investors and analysts.

Work closely with and provide administrative support to the CFO and VP of Investor Relations,as needed.

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

Experience

  • 2+ years experience in financial or investment services or related fields preferred
  • Experience in event / project management and planning and creation of communication and presentation materials preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization and planning skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy required and ability to meet designated deadlines
  • High level of discretion, judgment and integrity when handling confidential business matters
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Job Description

  • Provide research in support of performance analyses and investor relations communications, including for the preparation of quarterly earnings reports.
  • Coordinate and assist with investor presentations, including creating, modifying, and updating investor presentations for investor conferences, investor days, company events, and other ad hoc presentations on behalf of the company.
  • Maintain investor and analyst contact list and handle distribution of selected press releases and other materials, often outside regular office hours.
  • Prepare investor analysis on current holdings and return metrics. Analyze investor financial data, evaluate the quality of key accounts, and identify opportunities for program improvement.
  • Generate reports on shareholder ownership analyses to present to upper management.
  • Monitor incoming calls, emails and other inquiries; direct as appropriate and ensure timely follow-up. Will interface with sell-side and buy-side analysts to maintain and grow the company's investor base and generate positive interest among new investors.
  • Plan and maintain the annual program of IR events for the calendar year in close collaboration with leadership.
  • Organize and coordinate logistics for related events for CEO, CFO, SVP of Corporate Finance & Treasurer, and VP of Investor Relations, collaborating closely with multiple internal and external parties.

Events include investor days, presentations, video webcasts, conference calls, roadshows, conferences, property visits, and other industry events.

  • Coordinate quarterly earnings events, including scheduling calls, coordinating press releases, preparing earnings books, and reviewing and editing earnings transcripts.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating the company's IR website.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the CFO and the VP of Investor Relations, including but not limited to typing, filing, telephone support, scheduling, travel arrangements and correspondence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
