Job Description
What is the opportunity?
The focus of the Consultant Relations Analyst is to provide support to the Consultant Relations Managers in their day-to-day dealings with both field consultants and research analysts at consulting firms.
This includes working on a business plan to maximize research analyst and field consultant penetration within each Manager’s respective territories.
What will you do?
Team Support
Work with the Consultant Relations Managers to strategically develop and implement the team’s business development plan and initiatives, cultivate the team’s assigned territory, foster new relationships, provide first-class customer service, and ultimately drive sales.
Assist the consultant team on territory support, maintain up-to-date research on target firms utilizing industry databases (MMD, FinSearches, Callan, etc.
to research and define selling opportunities around specific consultant ratings.
Participate in consultant meetings / calls when appropriate, aid in the preparation of agendas and materials, follow-up and meeting minutes.
Work with internal parties to effectively use Salesforce for content delivery and analyze the e-distribution data to support a focused selling effort.
Manage team, senior management and distribution group reporting.
Data Integrity & CRM Support
Work with the consultant relations team to ensure timely and accurate information on consultants is in the firm’s CRM, tracking tools, etc.
and manage all output, including pipeline maintenance and analyzing call reports.
Manage Team’s responses to consultant (and client) inquiries (e.g. quarterly questionnaires, RFI’s, RFPs, consultant reports, marketing campaigns, due diligence analysis, etc.
Support the RFP team and Consultant team as needed to gather accurate, timely and quality information from the Business and review draft(s) to ensure the RFP / questionnaire is customized to prospects' needs.
Support the firm’s global database entry efforts.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Bachelor’s degree required - in Finance, Business or related field preferred.
0-3 years financial services industry (investment management and / or mutual funds) experience
FINRA Series 7, 63, and 6 required (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects on an ongoing basis in a fast-paced ever-changing work environment.
Must be extremely detail oriented and demonstrate exceptional project management skills
Demonstrate ability to work independently as well as outstanding flexibility and teamwork across all levels of RBC GAM and its affiliates.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including demonstrated expertise with PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook skills.
Ability to perform data analysis, diagram data flows, combine data sources for business consumption.
Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and provide statistical and trend analysis to support team effectiveness.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, grammatical and oral communication skills.
Strong ability to interact with all levels of staff. Must be able to maintain relationships that will relate to the overall success of the established firm goals.
Strong interest in financial markets and investment management industry.
Effective problem identification, analytical and resolution skills.
Adherence to all compliance regulations and guidelines including use of approved marketing materials, fund prospectus requirements, and proper licensing.
Nice-to-have
Pursuit of Industry Designations i.e. CAIA, CIMA, CFA, etc.
Experience with Salesforce CRM system

What is the Opportunity?
Provide administrative assistance to RBC Capital Markets.
What will you do?
- Provides high level of service and support to senior managers in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Coordinates internal and external senior level meetings, and arrange videoconferences, teleconferences and meeting space
- Schedules and maintains calendar of appointments, meetings and travel itineraries, and coordinate related arrangements for all supported managers
- Handles high volume of phone calls and exhibit a high level of service and professionalism
- Coordinates travel arrangements and processes expense reports
- Prepares and distributes divisional correspondence, memos, letters, reports or other documents as requested
- Prepares and submits expense claims for all supported managers and assists in training for the broader department to ensure that all policies and procedures are followed and timely reimbursement received
- Manages monthly invoices and arranges for payment
- On-boards new hires, processes new employees, transfers, termination, etc.
- Ensure approval of vacation requests and maintain vacation calendar for the department
- Order supplies, as necessary for the department.
- Establishes and implements communication standards for the department
- Responsible for participation in general administrative duties (copying, filing, faxing, archiving), ad-hoc projects, committees and or group events
- Special projects as assigned

Basic Qualifications :

- The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $50,000 - $75,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status;
- market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions;
health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
