Job Summary and Qualifications

• Assist SCTCTP Director with program strategic planning, goal setting and business development.
• Assist with program quality management plan and quality improvement processes are identified and documented.
• Assist in oversight for the activities of the program nurse coordinators / navigators and essential program staff including but not limited to patient navigation, financial coordinators, data manager, quality / regulatory manager, and stem cell processing team.
• Assist in the attainment and maintenance of program regulatory certification(s). Directs preparation process and on-going maintenance of standards for accreditation by the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapies (FACT), CAP, and FDA.
• Assist in the response to requests for information (RFIs) from national, regional, and local insurers. RFIs include program information (housing, staff education, medical team, quality management activities, clinical protocols), and volume and outcome data.
• Assist and interface with program vision, leadership, organization, and operations oversight including administrative and fiscal policy development.
• Assist and interface with program marketing and outreach strategy (i.e. educational conferences) development and implementation

What qualifications you will need :

• Registered Nurse
• Bachelors Degree
• Three years oncology experience
• Experience in Oncology / Stem Cell Transplant or other oncology / clinical research field
• RN MO License (or compact license required upon hire
• BLS required upon hire (ACLS optional)
• BMTCN / OCN certification preferred on hire or within 3 years of hire if not

What you will do in this role :

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participates in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Supports the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
• Provides recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff. Recommends and implements courses of action, including training and development, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, completion of performance evaluations, and / or disciplinary actions to ensure a competitively better organization.
• Assists with staff scheduling. Manages all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
• Supports proper inventory control and assists with managing supplies and equipment.

What qualifications you will need :

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Patient Safety Attendant (PSA) participates in high-quality, patient-centered care by providing continuous observation and monitoring for high risk patients.

In collaboration with the patient care team, the PSA ensures the patient environment is free of obstacles and minimizes risk of falls and accidental or intentional self-harm.

The PSA may also assist with basic activities of daily living.

What you will do in this role :

• Maintains a direct line of sight with patient at all times, including while family and / or visitors are in the room.
• Accompanies patient and ensures patient safety during transportation, testing, and procedures occurring away from the patient's normal environment.
• Establishes a safe, risk-free patient environment by utilizing knowledge of fall prevention protocols, infection control measures, and self-harm prevention.

Performs room assessment regularly and after any visitations.

• Creates clear, accurate documentation on patient status and activity during the shift.
• Performs other duties as needed when not providing direct patient observation. Assists nursing staff with tasks such as transporting patients, delivering equipment and supplies, transporting specimens, delivering patient trays, answering phones, and assisting visitors.
• Participates as an active member of the health care team and positively promotes the rest of the team to patients / families / caregivers and other colleagues.
• Participates in hospital or departmental performance improvement activities, and seeks opportunities to improve department and inter-department processes.
• Restocks non-medicinal patient room supplies as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Job Summary

The Adjunctive Therapist plans, organizes, and conducts occupational therapy programing in an acute mental health setting.

Provides professional therapeutic programming and services to behavioral health patients on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Research Psychiatric Center.

Participates in the multidisciplinary treatment team plan of care. Works collaboratively with members of the health care team, maintains a safe environment, and provides patient and family education.
