Children's Social Worker
Location : North East England
Salary : £21 - £30.50 per hour (depending on role and experience)
We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Children's Social Workers to join our dynamic team in North East England.
As a Children's Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting and protecting children and young people, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct assessments and investigations to determine the needs and risks of children and families
- Develop and implement care plans and interventions to address the identified needs
- Work closely with families, schools, and other professionals to coordinate services and support
- Monitor and review the progress and effectiveness of interventions
- Provide guidance and support to families to promote positive parenting skills and family resilience
- Respond to safeguarding concerns and take appropriate actions to ensure the safety of children
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all case-related activities
Requirements :
- Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Proven experience in children's social work, including child protection and safeguarding
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
- Excellent assessment and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Salary : The salary for this position ranges from £21 to £30.50 per hour, depending on the role and the level of experience.
