A&P Technician
Currently seeking A&P Technicians in San Diego, CA Experience with DHC-6 and / or DHC-4T Caribou preferred. Experience with PT6 turboprops is required.
BASIC FUNCTION SUMMARY A&P Technicians work on company owned aircraft, performing flight line support as well as airframe and engine maintenance, repair, modifications, and inspections.
Minimum of four years total aviation maintenance experience, plus a civilian or military aviation maintenance technical school is preferred.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Candidates must hold a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License.
Must meet CFR 65.83 recency experience Applicants must own basic Aviation hand tools stored in Mechanic s toolbox Must Hold Valid US Passport / US Citizen and valid United States Driver’s License Will be required to pass drug, alcohol and background check(s).
Must be willing to work overtime and odd hours May be required to travel (CONUS) Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English Physical Demands : Climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, extensive walking and working in tiring uncomfortable positions.
Special vision abilities required to perform this job are close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus May require lifting of objects whose weight may exceed 75 pounds.

Turbo Prop PIC (San Diego, California)
Rampart Aviation is currently hiring Pilot in Command Pilots.
Our team is currently in the process of selecting a Pilot in Command for our fleet of turboprop aircraft. Experience in Turbo Prop multi-engine aircraft is required.
Casa 212, DHC-4 or DHC-6 Twin Otter desirable.
BASIC FUNCTION SUMMARY
- Perform Pilot In Command duties for Rampart flight operations.
- Current base is near San Diego, CA (KNZY) must live in the area.
- Willing to perform duties as Instructor Pilot and or Check Airman
- This is a CONUS based position. However, short term deployments may be required.
- Flight operations are conducted under Part 135 and 91.
- All duties will be performed in accordance with Company Operations Manuals, Military Operations Procedures, and the Federal Aviation Regulations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must hold the following Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Pilot Ratings :
- ATP Multi-engine Land
- CFI, CFII, MEI is desirable
- Valid First Class Medical
Preferred Minimum Flight Experience
- 2500 hours Total Time
- 500 hours Multi-Engine
Other Qualifications
- Must have valid US Passport.
- Valid US Drivers License.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be able to obtain and hold a Secret Clearance - Secret Personal Security Clearance strongly desired
