About the Role
We're looking for someone to help lead the future of data science at Ramp. In this role, you will help define the product and operational roadmaps for how Ramp users onboard and activate.
You will partner closely in Ramp's development process through product ideation, experimental design, implementation, execution, and analysis.
You will partner closely with Ramp's operational teams to improve internal processes, build playbooks, and rmend actions.
Ultimately, we will depend on you to improve the Ramp customer journey by leveraging your advanced analytics skills and business context, enabling us to get 1% better every day.
What You'll Do
- Develop Ramp's product research and experimentation frameworks, from hypothesis development and experimental design to implementation and analysis
- Contribute to Ramp's product roadmap by working closely with stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of prioritization : fromplex and nebulous business context, to well-defined objectives, to a roadmap of scoped opportunities for leveraging data science to drive business results
- Leverage advanced statistical approaches to solve customer problems, and perform deep analysis against large andplex product data sets
- Partner with cross-functional product, engineering, and design teams to influence decision making across Ramp
- Contribute to the culture of Ramp's data team by influencing processes, tools, and systems that will allow us to make better decisions in a scalable way
What You Need
- Bachelor's degree or above in Math, Economics, Bioinformatics, Statistics, Engineering,puter Science, or other quantitative fields with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience as a Data Scientist
- Strong python experience (numPy, pandas, sklearn, etc.) across exploratory data analysis, predictive modeling, and applications of ML techniques to business problems
- Strong knowledge of SQL (preferably Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery)
- Proven leadership and a track record of shipping improvements with growth and product organizations
- Strong perspective on the experimentation lifecycle (hypothesis generation, experimental design, implementation, statistical analysis, A / B testing best practices)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly improving, start-up environment that focuses on solving problems with iterative technical solutions

About the Role :
Ramp’s first Technical Account Manager will be on the frontlines working to establish partnerships with Ramp customers, and act as a liaison between customers and our internal technical teams.
You’ll be partnering with Customer Success & Account Manager teams to identify, prioritize and build financial solutions for existing customers so that Ramp continues to scale with their needs.
You will act as the technical and financial subject matter expert for our customers, and design solutions that address the customer’s needs through Ramp and partner integrations.
You will partner with Post-Sales teams to drive Product, Design and Engineering teams’ roadmaps to evolve Ramp to better serve our customers at scale and offer increasingly higher value to the customers.
You will define the customer’s financial & technical success criteria from onboarding through activation and expansion. You will represent Product, Design and Engineering externally and will operate with deep conviction and understanding of Ramp’s technical capabilities.
The role requires technical skills necessary to understand and educate on robust accounting features, and integrate them across all the touchpoints and surface area of a customer.
What You'll Do
Work closely with the Customer Success & Account Management teams, effectively communicating Ramp’s technical accounting features and benefits to customers by delivering tailored product demonstrations.
Focus areas include Netsuite and Sage Intaact integrations.
- Work with customers to problem-solve technical hurdles, and propose effective product implementations for each customer with a deep understanding of the full range of integration and configuration options
- Via customer discovery, you will assess customer requirements for expansion of their Ramp partnership, and determine Ramp fit through use-cases, cost-benefit / ROI analysis, and technical competencies.
- Work directly with onboarding specialists to support more complex technical & accounting implementations of Ramp
- Be a subject matter expert across our HRIS and Accounting integration partners, partnering with Sales, Product and partners to advocate for integration development in-line with customer needs
- Propose effective product implementations for customers with a deep understanding of the full range of integration and configuration options
- Support technical documentation and maintenance of our internal knowledge base for customer use cases and best practices
- Partner closely with the product team to ensure customer feedback and pain points are heard, reviewed, and prioritized when needed
What You'll Need
- Minimum 5 years in solutions consulting or implementing business SaaS solutions and using APIs, ideally within the financial space
- Minimum 2-3 years experience working with Netsuite and / or Sage Intaact integrations

- Strong understanding of HRIS and / or ERP solutions

Compensation

About the Role
The Data Platform team develops and owns the systems that enable Ramp's reporting and strategic decision-making, as well as integrating machine learning models into our Risk systems and the product.
As a member of the Data Platform team, you'll build and maintain the infrastructure that enables Ramp to realize value from data.
You'll also partner with Ramp's analytics engineers, data scientists, and other data professionals to build internally and externally facing data products.
Our ideal candidate is excited about building systems for data collection, processing, storage, and retrieval, and is also passionate about making these systems observable, reliable, scalable, and highly automated.
What You'll Do
- Build and integrate theponents of Ramp's Analytics Platform and Machine Learning Platform
- Build tools that improve the agility and data experience of Ramp's Data Scientists, Analytics Engineers, Engineers, and Operations teams
- Build the batch and streaming data pipelines critical to Ramp's daily operations using Airflow, Snowflake, Materialize, and other data processing technologies
- Collaborate with stakeholder teams on building and productionizing analytical products and machine learning models
- Build reliable, scalable, maintainable, and cost-efficient systems across the stack
What You Need
- Minimum 2 years of experience with workflow orchestrators like Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect
- Minimum 2 years of experience building infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure
