Description
Radiology Ltd., a 500 employee imaging company is seeking a full time Certified Medical Assistant. Hours are 8 AM - 4 : 30 PM Monday-Friday.
The location of the position is on the East Side of Tucson at our Alvernon site.
The CMA will provide assistance to radiology staff including radiologists, nurses and technologists in a fast paced team environment.
Responsibilities and Duties of the Position :
- Prepare patients for exams and coordinate patient flow
- Monitor patients post procedure including vitals.
- Interview patient prior to exam and provide accurate documentation for nurses, physician extenders, technologists and radiologists
- Aids in providing patient education for scheduled exams
- Monitors supplies
- Maintains patient confidentiality
Qualifications
Experience and Other Requirements :
We are seeking candidates that have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with the following attributes :
- Customer service oriented with excellent communication skills
- Excellent multi-tasking skills and adaptability to a busy workflow
- Ability to work on a team and seek out where help is needed
- Responsible, reliable and empathetic
- Proficient in Windows based PC applications
- Prior medical office experience helpful
- Active CPR certification
- Certificate of completion from an Accredited Medical Assistant program or 2 or more years serving as a Medical Assistant (eligible for certification).
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.

We have a position for you with our Patient Scheduling team and offer a new starting wage ($16 minimum with increases based on experience and skills)
We offer a work from home opportunity after successful completion of in-person training (usually 60 days) in Tucson AZ and demonstrated performance.

Hours are Monday- Friday 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 30 PM. Our call center is on the East Side of Tucson. Training is not remote.

- Prior call center experience and medical terminology are helpful, but not required

Responsibilities :
- Accept inbound and make outbound calls at a dedicated workstation for an 8-hour shift
- Adhere to a set work schedule
- Meet established metrics for quality and productivity

Requirements
- High School or GED required at the time of hiring
