WHAT YOU’LL DO
Reporting to the SVP, Brand Experience, the Senior Manager of PR will help define and drive our global PR strategy. You'll lead a team of contractors who play a pivotal role in partnering with them to strategize and execute thought leadership and media strategies that educate, inspire, and influence our target audiences to create more brand awareness for the company and to our target buyer personas.
Working closely with Content, Brand, Solutions, and Product Marketing, your team will be responsible for building the right PR strategy and executing it in a way where our key spokespeople are looked at as thought leaders in the industry.
Our goal is to see an uptick in brand awareness from our brand surveys, and for Quickbase to be seen in the right stories, sharing the right narrative.
Your day-to-day will require a variety of working models, including working cross functionally across the company; directing contractors, agencies, and / or freelancers;
but also rolling up your sleeves to execute on deliverables yourself. This is a manager-doer role that demands strong creative thinking, flawless execution, bold innovation, operational excellence, and a strong spirit for partnership.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO QUICKBASE
Develop and execute a comprehensive PR strategy that is built to deliver measurable business results for the company. Work across functions to map out the most efficient processes to activate the strategy.
Drive story ideation, thought leadership, and earned media coverage across business; tech; and targeted vertical press that elevates the Quickbase brand, our product, and our spokespeople.
Manage and support inbound press inquiries.
Ideate and drive product launches and campaign execution.
Prepare and coordinate PR materials cross functionally with marketing and throughout the organization, such as press releases, bylines, messaging, media, pitches, and media lists.
Oversee agency’s ownership of speaking and industry awards programs.
Drive PR success tracking, measurement, and reporting efforts.
Stay on the pulse of today’s future of work, AI, and B2B enterprise software news, other trends to identify and recommend ways we can grow our communications strategies and expand brand awareness.
Work cross functionally throughout the organization and our marketing team to ensure program objectives and strategies are clearly communicated, aligned, and met internally.
Understand how to create a consistent news calendar and amplify PR results through social media, influencer marketing, paid content, blogs, and other content distribution.
Demonstrate experience working with customer advocacy to boost customer voices through all PR and in partnership with content.
Identify improvement in overall processes and partnerships and consistently drive implementation of changes and solutions.
WHO YOU ARE
You’re a seasoned storyteller with a proven track record being both a strategist and executer that pushes the boundaries of achieving brand awareness.
You are the perfect mix of a storyteller, problem solver, cross-functional communicator, and relationship builder. You’re a great writer and you understand the media landscape and the stories needed to influence the right audiences.
You’re as accomplished with media relationships as you are with PR measurement and showing the value of the program effectively.
You’re also passionate confidently navigating around anyone from the marketing team to executives, while also being endlessly curious and inventive.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 5-7 years overall experience, a mix of B2B and B2C companies preferred.
Passion for communication and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Writing samples are necessary- and a passion for brevity and human speak.
Understands effective storytelling and crafting audience centric narratives while understanding the importance of unified and consistent messaging across all marketing and communications.
You’re kind and positive, but aren’t afraid to deliver critical feedback and have tough conversations.
You’re a storyteller comfortable presenting and have the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
You’re self-sufficient with strong project management skills, familiarity with project management tools such as Jira.
You’re a self starter who is comfortable building things from the bottom up alongside others in marketing, highly adaptable, and is able to execute quickly and with a high level of standard.
