Princeton Tool, a Princeton Precision Group company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic. The Maintenance Mechanic will perform preventative maintenance on CNC machinery including but not limited to EDM, waterjet, lathe, mill, and wax press.

The Maintenance Mechanic will diagnose machine issues and perform minor repairs as required. This role will be responsible for reporting to site leadership when outside services are necessary to repair equipment.

Requirements :

  • Maintain preventative maintenance schedule for site CNC machinery
  • Perform preventative maintenance as required
  • Assess current maintenance needs and report priorities to management
  • Perform minor repairs as necessary
  • Diagnose problems, replace parts, make adjustments, and test machinery to ensure proper working order
  • Provide emergency / unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production
  • Determine when outside repair services are required and report to management
  • Assist with and coordinate equipment installation
  • Comply with safety regulations
  • Maintain clean and organized work area
  • Diagnose and perform minor repairs to non-machining related facility equipment
  • Other work related duties as assigned

Knowledge, skills, and abilities

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 or more years of industrial machine maintenance repair
  • Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meter, and material handling equipment
  • Understanding of lockout tag-out procedures
  • Ability to perform and complete required tasks independently with little supervision
  • Machining experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of staff, management, and leadership
  • Ability to perform duties in a safe and ethical manner
