Our direct client is looking for a freelance Motion Graphics Designer, who reports directly to the department's Multimedia Team Lead. Its a short term contract!!
Looking for someone that can work in the full Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop) and that understands how AE and Premiere work together.
Theyll be working with editors to produce marketing and promotional videos for the web and social. VFX cleanup, greenscreen, and roto experience is helpful (tracking, set extension, etc).
Primary Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with the Multimedia Team Lead and the Creative Director to develop and execute campaign deliverables.
- Research motion and design trends to translate into rich motion graphics stories that align with the business unit's and client's objectives and standards.
- Detail-oriented and highly developed organizational skills including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated expert understanding of typography, color, and layout as it pertains to video across various video platforms and social media channels.
- Expert level knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (I.e., After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Ability to take brand books; style guides; storyboards; scripts and translate them into impactful motion graphics.
- Ability to work autonomously and contribute required project deliverables to support large-scale video initiatives?
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with supervisors and other designers.
- Meticulous organization of assets and projects
- Ability to convert motion projects into templates, mogrts for use across other video projects.
Nice to have : Financial domain experience
Requirements :
- Bachelors Degree in Motion Graphics or another relevant field.
- Minimum of 10+ years Motion Graphics / Animation experience.
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (notably After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Experience with Cinema The Client and / or other 3D animation applications.
- Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced work environment.
- Familiarity with Workfront is a plus.
- Ability to explain your creative decisions and handle feedback on work product.
- Must be calm under pressure and can troubleshoot production issues with ease.
