The Receptionist provides administrative support to multiple departments, including Production. We are a dynamic, all-hands-on-deck team with a unique and fast-paced workflow.
The right candidate will be smart, energetic, helpful, detail-oriented, adaptive, and proactive. Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Reception / Administrative Tasks
- Oversee Reception area for the floor, including greeting and hosting guests in a professional manner.
- Re-stock kitchen daily and maintain inventory.
- Monitor and manage inventory of office supplies.
- Ensure office, kitchen, conference rooms, and shared areas are kept neat and tidy.
- Order and pick up food and coffee as needed.
- Maintain databases, such as personnel contact sheets and project suggestions.
- Create and distribute weekly production schedules around the building.
- Collect credit card receipts and assist with reconciliation / accounting codes.
- Handle inquiry emails.
- Sort and handle mail and letters.
- Make purchases and handle returns.
- Laundry drop-offs and pick-ups.
- Work with other administrative staff to ensure that all administrative needs of the organization are met and in keeping with company objectives.
- Back up other floor level reception as needed.
Production
- Help with various set-based tasks such as talent management / releases, runs, slate, teleprompter, and other roles as needed.
- Prepare spaces for filming days, and clean up after filming.
- Assist camera / lighting and set design staff with setting up and breaking down sets and equipment.
- Quality Control check videos for picture or sound errors, or content concerns.
- Google Drive organization.
- Perform research.
- Be at the ready for any miscellaneous tasks that might pop up.
Successful Candidates Will Possess :
- 1-3 years experience in an administrative or clerical role, ideally with Production experience.
- A true team player : proactive, helpful, honest, reliable, and calm under pressure. This is a no-ego environment where no task is too small.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, comfortable working independently, and detail-oriented.
- Must be committed to providing outstanding customer service and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
- Highly professional and composed when engaging with a variety of people, including high-profile celebrities and personalities.
- Proficient computer skills and ability to operate general office equipment.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and with all levels of the organization.
- Flexible and able to roll with the punches within an ever-changing game plan, and able to problem-solve on the fly.
- Quick to learn new processes, procedures, and technologies related to the job.
- Must have a reliable vehicle.

Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer will be able to design original artwork, including illustrations, info-graphics, collage, and animations for social media content, advertisement, email-marketing, merchandise, PragerU original series, and print collateral.
The candidate will also be responsible for researching and developing creative solutions to PragerU's social media, fundraising, and marketing needs.
If hired, the candidate will report directly to the VP of Design.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Hands-on Design
- Photo retouching, photo-manipulation and compositing with Adobe Photoshop and / or Lightroom.
- Vector graphics with Adobe Illustrator
- Print collateral with Adobe Illustrator and InDesign
- Animated and video content with Adobe AfterEffects and Premier
- Reformat and resize digital / print content according to multiple publishing specs across our digital platforms - Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, website, etc.
Adherence to Brand Standards
- Design digital and print content in alignment with current Brand Guidelines.
- Responsible of upholding brand standards and file naming conventions
- Maintain quality, organization and proper optimization for all digital platforms
- Project revisions : take a lead role in the revision process, incorporating feedback on projects from the Marketing team.
Research & Conceptualizing
- Develop new visual styles, formats, layouts and content to better convey PragerU's message to audiences.
- Become well-versed in PragerU content, past and present, as well as relevant non-PragerU content.
- Brainstorm with the Marketing department and collaborate with other departments when necessary.
- Propose new content ideas on a weekly basis.
- Propose and produce new Key Art and digital projects as needed.
- Monitor competitors' design work and research new & successful design trends for opportunities to improve PragerU content.
Requirements :
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the field of graphic design, or a portfolio that reflects the equivalent experience.
- Adept at use of the Adobe Creative suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, AfterEffects, and Premier.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask; you will be expected to work on multiple projects at once.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Social Media Director

Under the direction of the CMO, implement the social media marketing strategy and oversee a team of Social Media Managers.
The ideal candidate should have experience working in content development, social media management, and be results-driven.
They should be skilled and passionate storytellers with an appreciation and deep understanding of social platforms.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Oversee the execution of marketing strategy measured by significant growth of video views, subscribers, and online donations
- Produce and oversee all social media content implementation across all platforms utilizing news cycle to optimize results of both organic and paid campaigns
- Responsible for collecting and analyzing all analytical data to measure performance and effectiveness
- Lead outreach efforts with like-minded organizations to engage in content swaps and email acquisition partnerships
- Provide reports to CMO and CEO on marketing results
- Evolve and elevate PragerU's storytelling through timely, engaging campaigns
- Collaborate across the team and different departments to capture in-the-moment content while keeping overall content, our brand voice / style, and social strategy in mind
Successful Candidates Will Possess :
- 5-7 years of social media and / or related digital marketing experience preferred
- Management experience
- Strategic experience on social platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, as well as staying up to date on emerging platforms
- Passion for social media and good understanding of key trends
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Extremely organized with an eye for detail
