On-call Army Aviation SME (Pilot)
JOB DESCRIPTION
On-call Army Aviation SMEs will travel to Orlando, FL, or other sites as needed to assist in the development, training, and test procedures in accordance with contractual government requirements to support product accreditation.
SMEs will confer with management and staff to coordinate technical training and instruction to determine training objectives and ensure USG requirements are being met by applying knowledge of aircraft electrical systems, instrumentation, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, flight controls, operations / flight characteristics and all other aircraft systems and sub-systems, in accordance with all applicable technical manuals and documentation.
REQUIREMENTS :
Skills and Experience :
- Graduate of United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence
- 10 years of directly related experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
Education :
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Other :
Travel up to 50% required.
Secret Clearance and the ability to maintain such required.
PREFERENCES :
- Bachelor's degree
- IP / IE Rated
- Master Gunner Instructor (AH-64 platform)
- Rated on multiple aircraft types
