Responsibilities

  • Apply a hacker approach to a variety of sourcing and research channels to seek and engage top Construction talent
  • Source for hard-to-fill positions and develop proactive recruitment marketing activities to support robust candidate funnels against hiring forecasts
  • Effectively leverage social media tools; share market insights and help implement new hiring methodologies
  • Develop a strategic and consultative relationship with District HR and Operational Leaders for the districts you support
  • Advise the business by understanding market drivers, competitive landscape, and alignment
  • Organize meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, craft offer letters, extend offers, misc. duties as assigned
  • Partner with the TA Director to problem-solve and provide best practices and process improvements throughout the sourcing and recruitment marketing process
  • Use your savvy and sales skills to close offers against key industry competition
  • Quarterly travel to the districts is required (one trip a quarter, usually 2 days each trip).

Qualifications

  • Third party recruiting experience highly preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years as a recruiter in a high-volume, fast-paced environment; 8+ preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred, not required.
  • Construction or related industry knowledge is strongly preferred
  • IT and social media skills
  • Excellent communication, marketing, and sales skills
  • In-depth understanding of strategic sales process, prospecting, networking, cold calling

  • Ability to effectively work with hiring managers to understand their desired qualities and requirements and accurately source and provide candidates based on manager feedback / information
  • Ability to drive a strategic interviewing experience start to finish with self-sourced candidates
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision (time management and goal oriented)
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint presentation, LinkedIn Recruiter, HRIS, and Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Strong ability to write compelling emails
  • Research mentality with strong business acuity, and the ability ramp quickly on market trends and articulate market insights
  • Rigorous & studious work ethic, with the proven ability to go above and beyond to find the best solution
  • Creative thinking and knowing that there is more than one way to tackle recruiting challenges
  • Ability to have difficult conversations around critical topics including compensation expectations and immigration law & policy
  • Real passion for creative sourcing and recruitment techniques with a focus on providing a white-glove experience to clients and candidates
