Housekeeper
Housekeeping personnel are responsible for keeping our facility clean and safe for residents, staff and visitors.
Housekeeper Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Follows all housekeeping departmental policies and procedures
- Uses proper sanitation and safety procedures including proper infection control techniques, hand washing, use of wet floor signs when mopping one half of the corridors, etc.
- Attends in service meetings and training courses as directed by the Housekeeping Manager
- Assures all housekeeping carts and equipment remains in proper repair and stocks housekeeping cart with all required cleaning agents and supplies
- Promotes a safe resident environment by properly securing housekeeping carts in a locked area when not in use. Assures all chemicals are stored in a locked area and inaccessible to residents at all times
- Cleans all resident rooms and common areas in accordance with facility policies and procedures to assure a clean, sanitary, safe, comfortable and homelike environment
- Dust mops, sweeps, cleans, and mops resident room and common area floors. Assures carpeted areas are vacuumed on a daily basis
- Reports all necessary facility repairs in the maintenance log while also assuring the Housekeeping Manager is properly informed of any necessary immediate repairs
- Cleans and disinfects all linen / waste receptacles to ensure proper sanitation
- Other duties as assigned
Housekeeper Education and Experience Requirements :
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Related experience preferred
Housekeeper Physical Demands :
Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday
Must be able to push, pull move and / or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move and / or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet
May be necessary to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate

Receptionist

Receptionist / Administrative Assistant
The Receptionist is responsible for welcoming visitors to the facility by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories, and maintains security by following visitor / resident procedures.
Receptionist / Administrative Assistant Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Answers phones and operates a switchboard
- Routes calls to facility departments
- Takes and relays messages to facility departments
- Sends emails and faxes
- Greets visitors warmly and ensures they are comfortable
- Ensures reception is tidy
- Coordinates mail flow in and out of the facility
- Performs basic bookkeeping, filing, and clerical duties
- Assists Business Office Manager with accounts payable receipts
- Hands out employment applications
- Other duties as assigned
Receptionist / Administrative Assistant Education and Experience Requirements :
- High School Diploma or GED
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure
- Prior work experience handling receptionist responsibilities is preferred
