Paul Davis franchise professionals are available 24 / 7 to clean up and repair damage to residential and commercial property.

As a Paul Davis Restoration , you will be tasked with professionally and compassionately answering incoming calls from potential and existing customers and vendors.

You will also be the first point of contact for reaching out to sales leads from a variety of sources. Daily tasks include recording data into the Paul Davis proprietary software, create job folders for our project management team, code and key invoices, contribute to marketing efforts, make customer appointments and share in the multitude of tasks to assist the daily operational needs of the company.

Obtain and record required paperwork / invoices from Subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely and efficient payment processing.

Responsibilities :

Paul Davis Restoration is seeking a , an executive level position, reporting to the CEO.

The Director of Finance will have strong experience in Construction or Manufacturing Accounting and have the business acumen and experience to guide financial decisions within the organization.

Key Accountabilities :

  • Manages 4 direct reports while overseeing full cycle accounting including accounts payable, accounts receivable and job costing
  • Mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company’s financial results, and compliance with GAAP
  • Prepare and produce accurate and timely financial statements along with supplemental schedules
  • Analysis of the business performance and make recommendations to drive growth and profitability
  • Manage cash flow, cash forecasting, cash management, and collection efforts
  • Prepare financial forecasts and lead company budget efforts
  • Prepare all month-end entries, taking responsibility for all reporting including balance sheet, P&L, WIP, and any other reporting required by the CEO
  • Responsible for monthly closing of the books, reconciliation of bank statements, balance sheet accounts, and the preparation of monthly financial statements and reporting
  • Prevailing wage filings and reporting

Role on the Team (Job Responsibilities) :

  • Work in a cleaning capacity in the warehouse on inventoried contents from our insurance customers
  • Walk through jobsite with customer to go over the contents packout process
  • Coordinate packout timelines and procedures, communicate with customer what you are doing with their items. Solicit feedback from the customer on how they want sensitive items packaged and handled.
  • Work with a team on the contents packout, cleaning, storage, and packback tasks and be able to coordinate work flow with other team members
  • Ensure you are working diligently and adhering to job schedules
  • Communicate with other techs about responsibilities of the job and take ownership of its successful completion and your role in each and every job
  • Adherence to OSHA and industry standard safety procedures
  • Assist others when needed and foster a positive working relationship with other employees
  • Ensure you are on time and ready to work with contents crews every morning to handle the work to be done that day
  • Adhere to weekly schedules for contents jobs and follow assignments and tasks to customer / insurance partner satisfaction
  • Ensuring your performance of packing, cleaning, moving, storing, inventorying, and packback services are in accordance with Paul Davis and industry specifications
  • Communication - be the point of contact for customers if they have any questions and / or concerns and resolve those in effective and timely manner
  • Maintain inventory of clean, properly stocked, and organized truck(s) along with all company equipment, also keep contents cleaning work space clean and organized at all times

Licenses and Certifications :

  • Valid Driver’s License (at all times)

Reports To : Mitigation Manager Summary : The Mitigation Technician position is a career in field services in the property damage restoration industry.

The position is primarily responsible for responding to emergency and property damaging situations. Our labor force is accountable for addressing the property and the customer with skill, knowledge, and professionalism.

The position is accountable for preserving as much of the property as possible while working safely and efficiently on the job site. Responsibilities :
