two-story lobby, reflective fireplace, dramatic lighting, and rich textures, it
sets the stage for a hip, indulgent experience. Recently updated but retaining
its historical charm, the Paramount Hotel is standing out as the only hotel
near Broadway NYC with genuine personality.

Take
ownership of the guest journey to ensure that you continuously raise the bar

Know

Make sure our service and approach embody the Generator brand and
culture at all times
- Know your city, its cafés, bars and restaurants, its art, its music
- Ensure you comply with all company policies you have been trained on,
which may include Fire Training and Health & Safety and Food Hygiene
- Be Responsible for all cash handling whilst you are on duty
- Correctly administer the Close of Shift procedures every shift with
100% accuracy and consistency

What’s the job?

Ensure hotel bedrooms and other allocated areas are
cleaned and maintained to a high standard every day
Deliver an outstanding guest experience to enjoy a
great range of spotless guest bedroom facilities
Support the smooth running of the housekeeping
department ensuring work is carried out to the highest standard and the
housekeeping practice and standards are adhered to
- Report any maintenance issues to your line manager
- Demonstrate knowledge of health and safety
compliance

What’s the job?
NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB
Oversees
the daily operations of the Housekeeping department, including bedrooms and
public areas, ensuring they are maintained and consistent with company
standards
Respond
to all guest requests and guest opportunities in a timely and efficient manner
to ensure guest satisfaction
commercially aware, understanding the importance of working within costs &
departmental budgets
- Dealing with suppliers of linen, cleaning materials and guest supplies
- Oversees the repair and service requests for maintenance issues; ensures
all service work is completed in a timely manner
- Take accountability for managing laundry and labour controls
- Have an eye for detail and ensure brand standards are adhered to
- Manage, train and inspire the team, driving performance through hands on
leadership
Facilitate the flow of information throughout the department, by
organising regular handovers and team meetings
Demonstrate knowledge of health and safety compliance inclusive of COSHH.
Manage all audit processes to a high standard, ensuring 100% Health and Safety
compliance throughout the hotel

Staff Accountant
STAFF ACCOUNTANT - THE
PARAMOUNT HOTEL
We’re looking for a self-starter with attention to detail to join our team. Reporting
to the Assistant Director of Finance, you’ll further your finance experience by
assisting in the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports,
overseeing daily operation of the accounting department activities and internal
control procedures ensuring compliance with all Federal, State and local
regulations.

Prepare, record, and process accounts payable and
cash disbursement, and accounts receivable and cash receipts
Prepare allocation tables for indirect expenses and
revenue items as needed
Maintains required records, reports, and files in
an organized manner.
Gathers pertinent data pertaining to inventories,
accounts payable accruals, and any other information necessary to prepare
relevant journal entries
Review credit card refunds to ensure legitimate
refunds
Other duties as
assigned by management
Assist in the posting of accounts to the general ledger for accounts
receivable, cash receipts, accounts payable and cash disbursements
Review open invoice reports and follow up with a schedule of
payments or adjustments
- Assist with the year-end financial audit
- Responds to questions from managers and employees.
- Attends meetings as necessary
