FT - Security Officer

Pay rate : $23.50 / hour

Average hours per week : 40

Shift availablity :

Full time, Friday through Monday, 3rd shift (overnight)

What you will do

• Ensure the continual safety and security of site staff and visitors
• Maintain a physical presence, serving as a visible deterrent to illegal activity to include but not limited to interacting with transients, deter from setting up shelters, panhandling, and sleeping.
• Write detailed and accurate reports outlining any incidents that occur at your location
• Positively contribute to the overall experience and atmosphere by providing superior customer care to anyone you interact with
• Walking and standing for prolonged periods of time
• Wearing body armor, duty belt with handcuffs, baton, & first aid kit
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions

You will be a great fit if you

• Are at least 21 years of age
• Have a minimum of 2 years experience (Security, Military, or Law Enforcement)
• Are able to provide proof of High School diploma, GED or higer education.
• Have a driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Possess a valid Washington State Security License
• Have effective verbal and written communication skills

All qualified candidates must complete a mandatory 5-day training process ( In Office).

Part time - days and graves

What you will do

Answer the phone promptly and in a fully professional, friendly and positive manner; taking each call and recording the essential information about the caller.

Ensuring messages are routed to the correct staff / department in a timely manner.

• Accurately log all incoming and outgoing calls in real time.
• Utilize multiple computer programs to monitor Field Officer activity and to dispatch calls appropriately to the correct staff.
• Assist the Scheduling Team with assigning shift coverage in the event of call outs or added services requested.
• Collaborate with the Scheduling and Operations teams.

You will be a great fit if you

• Have a minimum of 1 year call center experience utilizing multi-line phones, email, and software.
• Have the ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute.
• Have a High School diploma or GED
• Are at least 18 years of age
• Have a driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Have strong problem solving and decision-making skills
• Have strong organization skills and the ability to priortize tasks
• Valid Security License preferred
