House Attendant
The Wayfarer DTLA is looking for a dynamic House Attendant to join the team! The House Attendant will be responsible for the cleaning of all public and common areas of the hotel and assist in housekeeping.

- Core functions of the position, but are not limited to the following;
- Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guests.
- Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
- Clean entire grounds of trash and cigarette butts.
- Run laundry and empty housekeepers’ trash.
- Clean lobby, exterior windows, hallways, walkways, railings, stairwells, pool furniture, ice and vending machines.
- Maintain cleanliness of dumpster areas, sand urns, exterior light fixtures, public benches, exterior of guest room doors.
- Shampoo carpets as assigned.
- Turn mattresses as assigned.
- Clean guestroom sliding glass doors as assigned.
- Report any missing / found articles, or damage to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Assist maintenance department with basic repairs (plumbing, carpentry).
- Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.
- Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.

Pacifica Hotels is looking for a dynamic Laundry Attendant to join our team at the beautiful La Jolla Cove Hotel & Suites! The Laundry Attendant is responsible for washing, drying, folding of hotel linen.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to :
- Adhere to Pacifica’s Pure Stay guidelines to ensure the health, safety and comfort of our team members and guests.
- Utilize Proper Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and in accordance with property specific guidelines
- Sort linens for washing.
- Check for stains and treat appropriately.
- Wash, dry, fold linen.
- Run linen and deliver as requested.
- Store linen in appropriate location.

Barista
Responsible for courteously and efficiently serving guests while preparing coffee, tea and other non-alcoholic / alcoholic beverages along with a variety of food items.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to :

- Completes and maintains any required training by law, such as Responsible Beverage Service Training (RBS Training) and Food Handler Cards.
- Prepare, stock, and serve food items. Follow all safety procedures when using the TurboChef oven and any other kitchen equipment.
- Maintain clean & sanitized bar tables, chairs, stools, and counter surface at all times.
- Routinely clean and upkeep espresso machines and brewing equipment.
- Adhere to food safety requirements and health department guidelines.
- Process all cash and charge transactions according to house procedures.
- Close checks and run reports at the end of shift.

- Attend all required brand training, coffee promotion, and implementation training.

Qualifications :
Knowledge / Education / Experience : Previous one year related experience preferred. Experience working with specialized coffee bar equipment and recipes required.
Prior experience as a server in a restaurant or hotel restaurant preferred. Basic federal, state, and local laws.
Skills / Abilities / Other Requirements : English speaking or bilingual. Operate cash register and process credit cards.
Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations. Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgment. Dependable.

Responsible for efficiently and courteously setting up assigned tables, retrieving and serving food orders, alcoholic / non-alcoholic beverages to guest tables.
Maintain cleanliness and condition of the work areas and equipment.

- Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to guests.
- Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
- Assist with meal set-up and set or pre-set tables in dining room as assigned.
- Courteously wait on guests, make recommendations, up sell.
- Responsible for designated section and accurately collecting and completing payment for services.
- Professionally serve food and beverages, check-in with and monitor guests’ experience throughout their visit to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Complete all side work (filling condiment containers, rolling silverware, stocking stations).
- Assist with cleaning dining area. Wipe down and reset the table for the next guests.
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness of restaurant / kitchen to Company standards and all health codes at all times.
