Job Description
We are looking for a Logistics Manager with experience in management and the building products industry to join our team.
Under the general supervision of the Branch Manager, this position is responsible for the timely and proper shipment and receiving of all materials entering and leaving the yard, the supervision of the yard and delivery personnel, and performs other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Furnishes a load list with truck loading instructions and delivery sequence to yard personnel. Coordinates daily pre-staging of loads and the following day’s schedules ensuring speedy in-and-out times of trucks on second and third runs.
Conducts and / or supervises cycle counts and physical inventories and is responsible for accurate reporting of results.
Supervises and maintains purchasing and receiving processes as established by the Company.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Minimum 1 year experience in traffic operations preferred but not required.
- Minimum two years of supervisory experience required.
- Multi-vehicle scheduling experience preferred but not required.
- Must possess good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Previous experience of jobsite deliveries preferred but not required.

- Performs routine troubleshooting and repair of basic electrical equipment.
- Assists in the design and assembly of motor starters and electrical controls.
- Performs routine welding.
- Ability to recognize and communicate the need for parts to be reordered.
- Maintains daily logbook.
- Troubleshoots of PLC, AC Drive and QCS.
- Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
- May often be required to work on-call.
- Maintains work area according to plant standard for safety, efficiency, and cleanliness.
- Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
- All other tasks and / or responsibilities as assigned.

- Previous Industrial Electrician experience

What’s the Job?
- Receives and processes incoming customer orders for materials and / or products from company employees or individual customers.
- Prepares order paperwork for shipment and / or secures freight carriers as required.
- Routes orders to departments for filling and follows up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates.
- May resolve routine issues with carriers, including customer complaints, liability issues, and rate discrepancies.
- Provides customer support by answering general product questions, directing customers to website, and distributing product brochures and samples.
- Enters purchase orders into SAP. Updates and maintains freight rate tables in SAP.
- Informs customers of shipping dates, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer.
You and your experience :
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Two (2) years related experience and / or training

- Previous customer service experience for a manufacturing company
- Previous dispatching experience

What's the pay rate?
Level I Electrician - $32.91, Level II Electrician - $35.62, Level III Electrician - $36.60
What’s the Job?
- Troubleshoots of PLC, AC Drive and QCS and performs routine troubleshooting and repair of basic electrical equipment
- Assists in the design and assembly of motor starters and electrical controls
- Runs conduit, pulls wires and makes routine connections
- Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected
You and your experience :
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Electrical trade school preferred
- 2-3 years of industrial electrical experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to use and operate electrical testing and calibration instruments, multi-meter and a variety of hand tools, proficient in troubleshooting of control circuits, using electrical diagrams, single lines and PLC ladder diagrams and fully versed in the National Electric Code
- Must be able to run conduit and have experience with types of Benders - hand to hydraulic
