Project Manager - Engineering Projects - 26302

Direct, full time opening with our client for an Environmental Field Technician.

Looking for someone with the following background and experience :

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science preferred
• 1 to 2 years’ of hands on experience in field investigations; condition studies on municipal infrastructure (sewage collection, storm water, water), associated surveys and and field monitoring.
• NAASCO certifications (manhole and pipeline assessments)
• Experience with use / maintenance of flow meters, manhole and culvert entries, manhole physical surveys, infiltration testing, dye testing, and GPS
• Must be able to work in the field in all weather conditions

Currently have a contract to hire opening with our client for a Mechanical Engineer for a role focused on industrial piping projects.

Responsibilities

• Initiate engineering calculations in conformance with project requirements
• Prepare equipment specifications and purchase requisitions
• Review drawings supplied by vendors, clients and other disciplines
• Conduct field investigation to obtain information to support project needs
• Maintain proper engineering files and records Requirements and Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering or related area
• 5+ years of mechanical piping engineering experience
• Knowledge of codes and standards related to design of Piping systems.
• Industrial equipment background
• Ability to read and understand equipment drawings and P & IDs
