Job Description
This position is responsible for managing the daily production, preparation and presentation of all food for the hotel's restaurant, banquets, food outlets and room service to ensure a quality, consistent product is produced which conforms to all Omni Standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage associates in scheduling, training, developing, coaching and counseling, conducting reviews. Also, focus on attracting, interviewing, retaining and motivating the associates while providing a safe work environment.
- Monitor, analyze and control all labor and food costs; prepare the appropriate reports, charts and schedules to ensure budgets are met or exceeded while quality is maintained or improved.
- Assist the Executive Chef in the creation, costing and implementation of outlets, banquets, seasonal and special menus.
- Should assume the responsibilities of the Executive Chef in his or her absence.

- Oversee proper handling and tracing of banquet food returns at end of functions.
- Directs proper sanitation of all kitchen facilities and equipment.
- Comply with EcoSure & health code standards for sanitation.
- Ensures that all kitchen equipment is in good working order.
- Directs proper maintenance of all walk-in coolers (rotation of food products and cleanliness).
- Knows expectations and ensures that staff understands them and that they execute said expectations within the proper guidelines.

Qualifications
- Experience for a minimum of 2 years in a sous chef role or supervisory role in a mid to larger sized hotel
- Must be able to obtain Safe Serve Manager's certification within 30 days of employment
- Candidate must have proven culinary skills and must be able to lead, develop, and motivate staff.
- Able to create, prepare, and execute all meal periods and service types, including plated, individual presentation, buffets, and traveling menus.
- Experience beyond New Orleans cuisine is a plus; creative and up to speed on new concepts and food trends.

- Responsible for overseeing the Housemen, ensuring that they are working appropriately with GRA’s, and that they are completing all daily housemen duties / special projects.
- Participates in energy conservation efforts.

Location
Come and join our team at this 605-room convention center hotel in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City. Our luxury hotel is located next to the Paycom Center(OKC Thunder), the Oklahoma Convention Center and across the street from the 70-acre Scissortail Park.
The property includes an all-day dining outlet (Seltzer's Modern Diner), an entertainment sports bar (OKC Tap House), specialty restaurant (Bob's Steak & Chop House), coffee shop (Park Grounds) and a retail outlet (RareBird Gift Shop).
Additionally, guests can enjoy a Mokara Spa, fitness center and a rooftop pool and bar (CatBird Seat) complete with a fire pit, outdoor lawn and cabanas.
The hotel offers 76,000 square feet of meeting and event space inclusive of a 20,000 square foot ballroom, 10,000 square foot ballroom, and a 4,200 square foot outdoor pre-function space that overlooks the park.
Job Description
The Omni Oklahoma City Hotel is a true outdoor recreation, entertainment and culinary destination paying homage to the heritage and modern progress of the city.
With 605 guest rooms and suites, the luxury hotel will showcase views of the 70-acre Scissortail Park and the downtown skyline with 75,000 square feet of meeting and event space, sports bar, specialty restaurant, coffee shop and a retail venue.
The Laundry Attendant will make sure all linen for guest rooms, pool, Food & Beverage, Spa and Fitness is processed to meet the expectations of Omni standards and business demands.
Responsibilities
- Operating washers, dryers, sheet folders and towel folders.
- Separate and wash all soiled linens, ensuring no foreign objects go into the machines.
- Understand the programming of the Ironer.
- Count and stock linen shelves.
- Clean area and blow down all machines.
- Clean all dryers at least two times a shift.
- Participate in monthly inventories.
- Attend department meetings and other company required training.
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Omni standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the resort.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper attire / uniform and name tag when working.
- Complete other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Qualifications :
- Previous Laundry experience is preferred.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, performing repetitive work.
- Must be willing to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must live within 50 miles of hotel
Physical Requirements :
Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk, push, pull, stoop, bend and lift items of moderate weight for an entire shift.
Working Environment :
- Interior of laundry room with daily travel around property.
- Exposure to extreme temperatures, especially heat.
- Exposure to hazardous chemicals.

- Washing and drying machines
- Ironer, towel folder, sheet folder
