Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs preventative maintenance duties in guest rooms and all other areas of the hotel
- R esponds to reported problems and issues and p erforms general repairs
- Assists with maintaining the pool area according to company and brand standards in addition to applicable state and local codes
- Maintains external property appearance including lawn, landscaping and parking lot
- Performs building and equipment preventative maintenance duties
- Assists team members and other departments as needed to contribute to operational efficiency
- Ensures all maintenance areas and equipment are clean, organized and secur ed
- Maintains basic knowledge of fire safety equipment, refrigeration, pool and elevator operation
- Maintains operational knowledge of common power and hand tools
- Performs a dditional responsibilities as assigned by l eadership

Clean and supply all daily assigned rooms and report all damage, mechanical deficiencies, suspicious activities or theft in accordance with all housekeeping procedures and standards.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
- Services guest rooms using cleaning agents and equipment to ensure adherence to department policies
- Removes inventories and replaces soiled linens and prepares rooms for guest arrivals
- Organizes and / or replenishes guest room amenities while maintaining a clean and orderly cart stocked with adequate supplies
- Receives assigned section keys, supplies and any priority room requests from the manager, turns in keys and unused supplies at the end of the shift
- Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within areas of responsibility
- Respond to guest requests and reports guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner to ensure guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous hotel cleaning experience is preferred
- Flexible work schedule to include weekends & holidays
- Self-starting personality with an even disposition
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests
- Pay attention to details and go above and beyond to make our guests comfortable
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand for long periods, bend, lift, pull, push. Ability to move up to 50 pounds.
- The use of various cleaning chemicals in order to clean appropriate surfaces and items.

- Meets all cleanliness and time requirement standard s established for cleaning guestrooms and other areas of the hotel includ ing the lobby, breakfast, pool, fitness center, stairways, hallways, elevators and patio
- Cleans , dust s , and removes waste in all areas of guestrooms , bathrooms , and public areas
- Replaces and provides all linens as necessary in accordance with standards including making beds
- Replaces or provide s required supplies in guestrooms and public areas
- Maintains an organized cart and s tocks cart with linens and supplies in accordance with standards
- Provides exceptional guest service and respond s promptly to guests' inquiries and co ncerns
- Reports room status and maintenance problems promptly
- Performs basic maintenance skills including plunging toilets, changing light bulbs and unclogging drains
- H andles chemicals and cleaning supplies with care and in accordance with standards
- Operates commercial laundry and cleaning equipment
- Performs all tasks and functions related to laundry and linen care
- Maintains appropriately stocked linen and storage rooms
