The New York Post Digital Network seeks a passionate Commerce Writer / Editor with a commercial mindset, strong understanding of our audience, and the ability to engage them through compelling storytelling to work across our various outlets including New York Post, Page Six, Decider, and Alexa, and play a crucial role in executing and elevating our commerce editorial strategy.
In this role, you will create exceptional service-first revenue-driven content that resonates with our audience and guides them in making smart purchasing decisions while also providing editorial support to our Commerce Editor when needed.
Reporting to the Commerce Editorial Director, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of our rapidly-growing digital commerce division within a dynamic and respected national media brand.

Responsibilities include :
- Write a minimum of five articles per week.
- Provide editorial support across the New York Post network and its current and upcoming partnerships.
- Research, write, and edit engaging and informative articles, product reviews, buying guides, and other shopping-related content.
- Stay updated on the latest innovations, industry trends, content strategies, and evolving best practices in the shopping and e-commerce industry.
- Conduct thorough research on various products, brands, and services to provide accurate and reliable information to readers.
- Tailor written and edited content to align with The Post’s signature voice and appeal to the target audience’s needs, interests, and preferences.
- Incorporate latest SEO techniques to improve content visibility and search engine ranking.
- Ensure high-quality, error-free content by reviewing and editing articles for clarity, grammar, and style.
- Work alongside the Commerce Editor to plan, assign, and maintain a content calendar.
- Optimize content for a seamless reading experience across devices and platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify growth and improvement opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, content strategies, and evolving best practices.
- Assist the commerce team with additional content maintenance tasks and projects as needed.
The ideal candidate will have :
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in SEO-focused commerce writing and / or editing.
- Proficiency in AP Style Guide, CMS, HTML, content management systems, data tracking systems, and SEO tools (e.g., SEMRush, Google Trends, Google Search Console, AI).
- Willingness to learn new programs as needed for business improvement.
- Deadline-driven mindset with strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with a team in a fast-paced environment.

The New York Post Digital Network seeks a commercially minded and proactive Commerce Editorial Updates Editor with 3+ years of lifestyle or commerce editorial experience to join our expanding Commerce division.
We are looking for a candidate with exceptional writing and editing skills who excels in a fast-paced, organized, and deadline-driven environment.
Autonomy is a key aspect of this position, as you will independently maintain and update our commerce editorial content while upholding high-quality standards.
A strong understanding of SEO and affiliate marketing is crucial, as revenue generation through optimized content is a primary focus.
Reporting to the Commerce Editorial Director, you will have a significant impact on the success of our growing digital commerce division.

- A careful, curious consumer with a strong interest in shopping trends
- Experience with SEO, SERP results, keyword trends, affiliate marketing, etc.
- Experience with CMS, HTML, data tracking systems, headline optimization, etc.
- Experience with SEMRush, Google Trends, and Google Search Console a plus

Senior SEO Manager

We are seeking a Senior SEO Manager to join the SEO team at the New York Post working with a focus on lifestyle, entertainment, and Page Six.
This role will report into the Director of SEO and will collaborate closely with department stakeholders across the New York Post and Page Six to grow organic search traffic.
Responsibilities :
- Work closely with the New York Post and Page Six editorial teams to provide on- and off-page optimization recommendations and develop keyword-targeted content
- Create SEO content strategies for both evergreen and timely content around trending celebrities, shows, and events
- Perform keyword research to identify content gaps and emerging trends
- Monitor and track reporting on traffic and rankings
- Stay up-to-date on new industry trends and Google’s web standards, and translate them into workable solutions
- Conduct regular training sessions and audits to maintain SEO best practices
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 4+ years of experience working in-house in organic search and / or editorial Applicants with strong editorial experience in entertainment, celebrity and lifestyle who are seeking a career change to SEO will be considered
- Deep knowledge and passion for celebrity and entertainment news, including the Kardashians, Royals, and all things Bravo;
interest in astrology and horoscopes is also a plus
- Working knowledge of competitive SEO tools (SEMrush, Google Trends, Search Console, Google Analytics) is a plus
- Ability to balance priorities and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment
- Ability to be both a self-starter and team player; strong interpersonal and communication skills are required
