Then take your next career step with us! We’re hiring a Marketing Communications Specialist in Austin, Texas to support NXP’s Automotive business!

As a leader in the automotive industry, we offer carmakers and automotive tier-1 suppliers a broad portfolio of differentiating hardware and software solutions to advance safe, electrified, connected and automated vehicles.

We expect you to shape impactful content all aimed at proving how we strive for zero emissions, zero accidents, and zero time wasted while on the road.

In this cross-functional role, you will engage with international product and technical marketing teams across NXP as well as agencies to effectively execute and support Marcom strategies for new product introductions and other campaign activities.

The position is open to tech enthusiasts in Austin, Texas. You will report into the Head of Automotive Marketing & Communications.

Your objective is to create and execute on impactful Marketing & Communications content for NXP in Asia, the U.S. and Europe and to help grow our automotive business.

Responsibilities

  • Support and execute integrated marketing campaigns for new product introductions, which may include asset creation, web site material, social media, webinars, events and videos.
  • Collaborate closely with the smart mobility marketing communications and creative teams to develop key marketing collateral, presentation materials, and other marketing assets.
  • Support thought leaderships initiatives, which may include customer-focused activities, integrated marketing campaigns, events, and PR.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to help generate content and messaging, web strategy, and marketing collateral.
  • Report on overall campaign performance and help manage campaign budget.

Cross functional aspects :

  • Cross business interaction with multiple groups covering automotive topics
  • Work with teams across the globe in Europe, Asia and North America
  • Ability to interact and communicate with management, colleagues and vendors

Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or related fields
  • Strong project management skills : ability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, prioritize high impact activities, and keep complex projects moving forward
  • Exposure to online marketing disciplines including performance marketing, content marketing, and email marketing helpful
  • Experience (including in internships) or coursework demonstrating ability to produce relevant, accurate, and creative content for various channels on time
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated with the ability to see the big picture
