NOW Courier, a top tier U.S. courier company in the transportation / trucking / railroad industry, is seeking a Warehouse Sorter to join their team.

As a Warehouse Sorter at NOW Courier, you will help ensure that packages and documents are sorted and delivered to their correct destinations.

Responsibilities

• Sorts and prepares packages for delivery to their correct destinations.
• Assists in loading and unloading packages in and out of delivery vehicles.
• Works independently or as part of a team to meet specific deadlines.
• Keeps inventory records up to date.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times.
• Ensures the timely and efficient flow of all packages and documents through the warehouse.
• Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities : This job has no employee supervisory responsibilities.

Education and / or Experience : High School Diploma or G.E.D; and two years of related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Previous experience working in the logistics and distribution industry is desired.

This job operates primarily in a warehouse environment with moderate safety / health hazard potential. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

While the offices of NOW Courier are open from 8AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday, this job may require work beyond these hours and on the weekends.

Requirements

As an industry leader, maintaining a fleet of professional drivers is a top priority for us. You, as a qualified applicant, must own a vehicle that can pass a multi-point inspection.

Additionally, you should be at least 21 years of age and possess a smartphone capable of running our driver app. It is essential that you have a valid driver's license and insurance coverage, with a minimum of $300,000 combined single limit liability.

Moreover, you will need to pass a comprehensive driver screening, which includes a review of your driving history, criminal background check, and a substance abuse screening.
