Marketing manager
Position Summary
The Marketing Manager is a member of the Campus Services marketing team, primarily responsible for managing NYU Skirball’s marketing strategies, both online and offline.
Oversee and create website content, social media and paid online advertising by leveraging new and existing technologies.
Oversight of design and creation of content for NYU Skirball / NYU Box Office eblasts and promotional events.

5+ years experience in marketing and communications with a focus on digital media.
Preferred Experience :
1+ years Experience working with the Tessitura ticketing system an asset. Experience working in a nonprofit performing arts center.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities :
Knowledge of digital communications in a global context, and significant experience using all forms of new media and technologies.
Proficiency with graphics / digital imaging software including Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator and flash. Experience in creating content for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.
Deep understanding of the online communications production process, including working knowledge of HTML and proficiency with web content management systems.
Ability to use a variety of digital tools-images, video, GIFs, and other forms of multimedia-to tell stories. Ability to work collaboratively across organizational lines.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to present digital / online findings at weekly marketing meetings and effectively meet deadlines.
Assistant production
Position Summary
NYU’s Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity available for an Assistant Production Manager in the Stern Studio.
The selected candidate will manage, maintain, produce and expand the services offered by the Stern Studio. They will advise faculty and students on full cycle production and post-production activities, including making recommendations on design, style, and editing to ensure world-class quality.
The Assistant Production Manager will facilitate live uplink / broadcast, synchronous and asynchronous productions filming, and full post-production.
The selected candidate will also supervise student employees and serve as resource expert to faculty and students on production recommendations and Stern Studio technologies.
Qualifications
- The selected candidate must have a bachelor's degree and 2 years of demonstrated experience in relevant production, studio, and post-production;
- operating aspects of audio and video production technologies, for recording and exhibition; maintaining and operating multimedia equipment, video / data projection systems, and surround sound audio systems;
production and post production workflow; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Fluency with a variety of editing software, comfort with audio and color correction and lighting and rigging for a variety of production scenarios, 3xperience with a range of cameras, from 5Ds to higher end models, and knowledge of video compression, codecs, formats, etc.

Social Media Manager
Position Summary
Develop and write original content for the social media team through daily writing and management of posts for NYU’s central channels (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube), which reach more than 2 million people.
The incumbent will be part of the team that creates the thoughtful, lively, clever, and consistent voice across NYU’s central social channels.
- Primary responsibilities are to draft and schedule daily posts sharing university news from internal and external sources;
- to creatively prepare original content produced by the Director of Social Media, Assistant Director of Multimedia, and multimedia content producers for video and photography for use on a variety of digital platforms;
to conceive messaging for various campaigns; to perform social crisis and other listening and campaign analysis using the Sprinklr platform, and to engage with followers on all of NYU’s channels.
The social media manager will also partner with the Director of Social Media to provide social best practices and updates to communicators across the university, supervise student assistants and organize student social media takeovers, help with production on video shoots, and write profiles or other pieces of content to be featured on social.

Knowledge of social media trends and best practices, especially as applicable to brands and organizations. Specific knowledge and experience with using social media publishing, listening, and analytics tools and generating reports.
Excellent organization and verbal / written communication skills. Ability to interact with a diverse population at all levels.
Knowledge of standard office software.
