Summary
We are looking for a receptionist to join our team! The individual will work directly with our attorneys, performing a variety of administrative support duties and will be responsible for coordinating new client engagement.
The ideal candidate for this position is organized, professional, responsible, capable of working with limited supervision and committed to helping us meet all our clients’ needs.
This role starts at $15 / hour
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and inquire into their purpose of visiting the firm
- Record all information provided by clients and forward it to attorneys.
- Answer phone calls by operating PABX systems, transferring calls, and taking messages
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence according to established protocols and procedures
- Ensuring that conference and shared spaces are tidy and ready for client meetings
Qualification
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of general office practices
- Effective oral and written communication
- Must be customer service oriented
- Ability to communicate verbally in a professional manner
- Previous experience with Microsoft Office software preferred

Requirements
- Associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience (preferred)
- 1 year of experience in the legal field a plus!

Qualifications
- Entry level experience working in an office setting, preferably in the legal environment

Summary
We are seeking a Litigation Assistant to join our team. As a Litigation Assistant you will work closely with our talented attorneys providing support before, during and after trials.
Responsibilities
- Prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, legal memorandum
- E-file all court documents in state and federal court
- Communications with clients, court, counsel, and others
- Conduct legal research and factual investigation
- Prepare discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses
- Draft and server summons
- Coordinate and summarize depositions
- Prepare trial binders and exhibits
- Drafting pleadings, motions and appellate documents and filing them with the court
- Performing administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics)

Case Manager
Summary
We are seeking a Presuit Paralegal to join our team. As a Presuit Paralegal you must be highly organized and able to work on a varied caseload.
The Presuit Paralegal will assist the attorney in developing settlements, preparing documents and correspondence as needed.
The ideal candidate is customer focused and empathetic.
Responsibilities
- Daily interaction with existing and potential clients, via telephone and in person.
- Order medical records from providers and communicate with clients and providers during the course of treatment.
- Obtain documents necessary to support injury and / or liability positions
- Interact with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances
- Negotiate case settlements with insurance carriers and negotiate a deduction of outstanding medical balances with providers
- Work directly with multiple coworkers involved in the management and support of case files
- Maintain organized case files.
- Prepare comprehensive demands and assemble support for submission to carriers
- Interact with attorneys and present case synopsis when required
- Manage case files from intake to closing under the direction of an attorney
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager preferred.
- At least 2 years of working in a legal position or insurance adjuster experience preferred.
- Negotiating skills.
- Ability to be a team player and follow procedures.
