Morada Senior Living is hiring a Community Relations Specialist to help build brand awareness, professional outreach and community relationships for our community Dorset Place.

Responsibilities :

Builds a referral generating network for our three senior living communities :

  • Pre-qualifies sources of professional referrals to determine their ability to send qualified potential residents to the community.
  • Positions the business partnership emphasizing that our residents will be using their services and in return referrals are generated to the community.
  • Identifies the key decision-makers and influencers in the local community to generate referrals to the community.
  • Interacts with others by developing and maintaining rapport, demonstrating interpersonal sensitivity toward others.
  • Establishes and maintains professional relationships through mutually advantageous activities.
  • Plans events that draw the professional referral sources to the community for a presentation and tour; manages the logistics, greets guests and provides tours.
  • Researches the sales history of referral sources to determine the effectiveness of activities and modifies plan and tactics to optimize ROI.
  • Establishes a work schedule that supports the demands of the marketing plan and meets or exceeds the number of presentations, group presentations and follow-up visits in accordance with the plan.
  • Develops a formal community relations annual marketing plan and budget, in conjunction with the Executive Director.
  • Maintains in Vitals CRM, accurate, complete and up-to-date records of leads and referral sources / contacts to measure professional community relations' efforts and cost, according to guidelines established by the Executive Director.
  • Working with other staff, achieves and surpasses benchmarks set for work plan, early move-ins and maintenance of high occupancy throughout the community.
  • Keeps updated records about relevant operational, competitive, and company information, in order to respond effectively to inquiries from contacts, and convey the competitive advantages of the community
  • Monitors local community information to gain market intelligence on the changing marketplace including potential new referral sources and competitors.
  • Notifies corporate marketing on newsworthy events and human-interest stories for PR.
  • Stays current with industry journals, newsletters and publications.
  • Participates in local associations and groups with membership and agendas that impact senior care and directly tie into the professional referral community.
  • Maintains and protects the confidentiality of resident information at all times.

Qualifications :

  • College Degree Preferred
  • Two to three years' experience in senior living preferred
  • Two to three years' proven experience in business development and outside sales strongly preferred
  • Ability to travel daily in a small radius around the three senior living communities and to outside appointments.

Responsibilities :

  • Utilizes proper food handling and food service techniques.
  • Takes meal / drink orders and serves meals in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Assures resident / guest is satisfied with their meals.
  • Maintains knowledge of all specials and general description of all food items and explains to residents or guests.
  • Maintains assigned tables and surrounding area in a complete state of cleanliness, appearance and readiness.
  • Follows daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules.
  • Assists with orientation and training of new food servers.
  • Practices all safety and loss prevention procedures.
  • Maintains or exceeds standards of appearance, cleanliness, personal sanitation, and hygiene.
  • Performs and completes opening and closing checklist criteria.
  • Assists in dining room and surrounding areas for proper directional flow, organization and supplies placement.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in fine dining preferred.

Exceptional Sales Professional

This is an opportunity to improve the lives of seniors while earning a potential compensation package of over $80K. We are looking for sales professionals who are highly skilled at discovering sales motivations, building relationships, overcoming objections and closing.

Senior living experience is not required but a willingness and determination to meet sales and census goals is a must. The compensation for this position includes a base salary, outstanding commission earning potential and a comprehensive benefits package.

In this position :

  • You will interact with seniors, their family member and other influencers as they explore their new vibrant living options.
  • You will present the different lifestyles available at your community (Independent Living, Assisted Living & Memory Care), and personalized care services in order to present a specific plan tailored to meet their needs.
  • You will conduct community tours, host various prospect and professional events to build occupancy in your community.

Qualifications :

  • Five or more years of proven commission-based sales experience
  • Compassionate with an interest in working with seniors
  • Strong communicator with the ability to build relationships and influence decision making
  • Expert at discovering a prospects sales motivation and needs
  • Quick, strategic thinker with the ability to understand and overcome objections
  • Ability to close sales in person and over the phone
  • Self-starter with a passion for sales and accomplishing goals
  • Project a professional and polished image that inspires confidence and trust

Requirements :

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
