A DAY IN THE LIFE
Our Entry-Level Data Specialist position is located in Valley Forge, PA. For the right person, we may consider remote.
We are seeking to add a key member to our Data Management Production team. This is an entry-level data entry (and data management) position which is very repetitive in nature.
This role will be responsible for a full range of activities including :
- Data entry.
- Process electronic data files into various database systems.
- Document scanning.
- Run established reports to ensure data quality and accuracy.
- Management and archiving of digital files.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Exercise safe work practices by following all Company safety rules and OSHA regulations, including attendance at all required safety training programs.
- Participate in the company’s continuous improvement programs and provide support to team efforts.
- Keep up-to-date and current on industry trends by completing formal training, reviewing professional publications, and attending professional workshops.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
YOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLS

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of MS Office applications with emphasis on Access and Excel.
- Experience with Microsoft Office software, particularly MS Word and MS Excel.
- 0 3 years previous experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Able to use a variety of office equipment, such as computers, fax machines, photocopiers, scanners, and videoconferencing and telephone systems.
- Computer literate - capable of performing tasks such as : create spreadsheets; compose correspondence; manage databases;
and create presentations, reports, and documents using desktop software and digital graphics.
- Exhibit professionalism in dealings with other employees, customers and suppliers.
- Detail-oriented.
- Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
- Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.

A Day in the life :
The Environmental Technician position is responsible for performing day to day inspections of components in the LDAR Program.
This position will be responsible for maintaining and care of their monitoring equipment and overall maintenance of the LDAR inventory.
The following list of duties are the responsibility of the Environmental Technician.
Participate and be engaged in the safety culture
Complete comprehensive Job Safety Analysis at their jobsite
Maintain and use all required PPE
Perform and document calibration of monitoring instrument as required
Perform and document calibration-precision test and response time test as required
Perform and document field inspections accurately, safely and efficiently
Document on leak tag completely and accurately for all leaks found
Hang inventory tags and re-hang fallen inventory tags
Document and report any tag maintenance and inventory discrepancies found in the field
Document Management of Change and assist to maintain the accuracy of field inventories
Perform and document drift assessments, where applicable
Participate in training for career development, safety and maintaining required certifications
Perform any other duties assigned by client or project manager(s)

Education Requirements :
High School diploma required at minimum, preference given to applicants with an associates or bachelors degree in science related or environmental programs.
Novice knowledge in LDAR related hardware and tools
Novice knowledge in Federal, State and local LDAR regulations
Years of Experience :
0-2+ years of industry experience preferred
Systems :
Experience with Workday is beneficial
Experience with LDAR database software programs is beneficial
Licensures / Training Requirements :
Valid Driver’s License is required
Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC) is beneficial
State / Region applicable Safety Council Training is beneficial
Refinery Safety Overview (RSO) training is beneficial
Man lift Certified is beneficial
First Aid and CPR Certified is beneficial
Safety / Drug Screening :
Capability to pass background checks and initial and random drug screening
Must be able to successfully pass a urine, alcohol, and hair test
Ability to climb stairs, ladders and work from heights
Ability to pass an OSHA Respiratory Protection Medical Evaluation, and don respiratory equipment
Travel :
Ability / willingness to travel locally and overnight 75-100% of the time

A DAY IN THE LIFE
As a key member of the LDAR team, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including :
Conduct routine leak inspections of industrial piping and tank components using a backpack-mounted organic vapor meter
Maintain a basic understanding of air quality rules and regulations
Maintain good public relations with clients
Report all environmental and safety issues to client and Regional Manager
Maintain all Company equipment in good condition
Remain current on all Montrose and client safety training and policies
Report all safety or compliance irregularities to the Client and to the Regional Manager
Maintains the company vehicle including cleaning, minor repairs, oil changes, etc., and document each activity in the Vehicle Maintenance Log
Reports all incidents that affect "normal routines," including, but not limited to accidents, injuries, equipment failures or breakage, scheduled activities and client relationships to the Regional Manager
Performs daily vehicle checks and required routine maintenance of field vehicles, and document using the Vehicle Maintenance Log if applicable
Properly uses the fuel card, and correctly and accurately reports odometer readings when fueling vehicle, if applicable
Maintains all field equipment in good condition
Reports all non-working equipment to the Regional Manager and prepares Incident Report
Represents the company in a professional manner, including personal habits, dress codes and communication skills
Attends all required Safety meetings
Checks in and checks out as required for all locations
Demonstrates knowledge of safety procedures
Immediately reports all work-related accidents and incidents to the site superintendent, Regional Manager and Field Safety Coordinator
Prepares Near Hit / Hazard Reports as required by the Safety Manager or specific job site
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma / GED
Ability to work independently
Experience in industrial or mechanical maintenance, laboratory or related experience preferred
Proficient math and chemistry principles
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with proven time management and prioritization skills
Knowledge of air quality regulations
Pass pre-employment drug and background test screenings
Valid driver's license
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of computer software, such as MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
Must be able to exert moderate physical effort, including lifting heavy materials and working at heights
Ensure the company policies, standards and procedures are adhered to at all times
Willingness and ability to travel, including overnight and weekends if necessary
Ability to work in industrial settings, outdoor and / or at elevated heights
