We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented marketing leader to join our Marketing Strategy and Operations team as the Marketing Lead for Atlas Search.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing an integrated marketing strategy and operational plan for Atlas Search, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive awareness, customer acquisition, and product adoption.

This role can be based out of our New York City office or remotely in the North America region.

Responsibilities :

  • Define and lead MongoDB’s Atlas Search go-to-market marketing strategy and supporting Marketing Calendar, collaborating with Marketing Leadership and cross-functional GTM leaders
  • Work closely with Product, Product Marketing, Sales, Marketing, and Developer Relations teams to refine and execute Atlas Search’s GTM strategy
  • Lead marketing programs (Growth, Strategics, Partner, DevRel, etc.) and channel partners (WebXp, Social, Paid, Comm strategy, Event strategy, etc.

to define the integrated go-to-market strategy and operational plan for Atlas Search

  • Write comprehensive integrated marketing program briefs for Search, gain alignment with internal cross-functional teams, and present briefs to channel and program owners
  • Ensure all program requirements and objectives are properly translated for execution, establish milestones, goals, and objectives based on input from all stakeholders, and manage communication around calendar updates / shifts
  • Establish program timelines and milestone dates in collaboration with the Marketing Operations team and inform necessary teams (Marketing, Sales, Comm DevRel, etc.)
  • Report project status, issues and implemented solutions, evaluations, and assessments of results, and provide leaders with updates including opportunities for improvement
  • Recognize potential problem areas against the plan, identify and implement alternative solutions, and coach others through difficult decision-making situations

Qualifications :

  • 6-7 years of relevant work experience in B2B product marketing operations
  • Highly collaborative and effective at influencing in cross-functional environments
  • Demonstrable experience planning and executing integrated marketing plan
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to identify risks, resolve issues, and communicate with stakeholders
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Understanding of modern application development, application search, cloud computing, and agile methodologies

Bonus qualifications :

  • MBA or Masters in a STEM field
  • In-depth knowledge of Apache Lucene or extensive experience with application search technologies
  • Programming and technology skills, with experience building mobile or web applications
  • Passion for new technologies and cloud computing

MongoDB is growing rapidly and seeking a Data Engineer to be a key contributor to the company’s Internal Data Platform. You will build ETL pipelines that pull data into our Data Lake / Warehouse and that will be used to drive forward our growth as a product and as a company.

You will take on complex data-related problems using very diverse data sets, and will work with stakeholder groups throughout the company to help them make better data-informed decisions.

This role can be based out of our New York City office.

Our ideal candidate has experience with

  • Building ETL pipelines at scale that can grow without sacrificing performance
  • Data Lake / Warehouse design patterns and concepts, including Delta Lakes
  • Several programming languages (Python, Scala, Java, etc.)
  • Data processing frameworks such as Spark and Pandas
  • Orchestration tools such as Airflow, Luiji, Azkaban, Cask, etc.
  • AWS services such as S3, Kinesis, EMR, Lambda, Athena, Glue, IAM, RDS, etc.
  • Different storage formats such as Parquet, JSON, Avro, and Arrow
  • Streaming data processing frameworks like Kafka, KSQL, and Spark Streaming
  • A diverse set of databases (MongoDB, Redshift, etc.)

  • You understand the tradeoffs between different schema designs like normalization vs. denormalization
  • In addition to data pipelines, you’re also quite good with Kubernetes, Drone, and Terraform
  • You’ve built an end-to-end production-grade data solution that runs on AWS or GCP
  • You have experience building machine learning pipelines using tools such as SparkML, Tensorflow, Scikit-Learn, etc.

About The Role

We’re looking for a strategic email marketer to focus on owning the customer experience for the channel. This will be accomplished by driving a continual effort to consolidate messaging, create clear audience targeting and segmentation requirements, and monitoring the health of the channel.

You will be responsible for helping our marketing team leverage the email channel to the fullest potential. You will bring your experience in email marketing to drive email efficiency, gather accurate requirements, and deliver measurable business impact.

You will use your understanding of our audience to tailor these experiences to each segment. The role requires excellent organizational skills, as well as a strong eye for detail.

Embedded within the Global Integrated Campaigns (GIC) team, you will work closely with Strategic Marketing, Field Marketing, Marketing Analytics, and Marketing Operations to operationalize marketing campaigns focused on nurturing prospects into customers.

This role can be based out of our Austin, New York, or San Francisco office locations or remotely in the North America region.

Position Expectations

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for B2B best practices for email marketing
  • Responsible for defining the prioritization strategy, project evaluation and best practices for cross-functional alignment
  • Review / Approve email templates, copy, and formatting to prevent errors and ensure an ideal customer experience
  • Ensure templates are rendering correctly on various platforms using available tools
  • Identify and define key performance indicators and reports needed to optimize channel effectiveness
  • Help establish and track against email metric goals
  • Manage a measurement framework, in partnership with our Marketing Analytics teams, refining success metrics and inputs that show impact of our programs
  • Manage and execute strategic email program initiatives at various stages of the customer journey particularly focusing on prospecting, nurturing, and event related communications
  • Implement and lead regular stakeholder meetings for better alignment
  • Communicate insights from email programs broadly across the organization
  • Drive both ideation and execution of experiments across email to increase user activity and engagement
  • Project manage the set-up of email campaigns with timelines and strict deadlines while ensuring quality
  • Create the necessary processes to manage domain / IP health, monitor bounce rates, and spam complaints
  • Ensure audience compliance with global spam regulations likeGDPR / CAN-SPAM / CASL / LGPD and others

Candidate Profile

Our ideal candidate for this role will have the following :

  • Bachelor's Degree ideally in marketing, business, economics, or technical field
  • 4+ years of experience in marketing campaign execution / or demand generation in a technology company
  • Deep analytical and data acumen. Proficient with segmentation, reporting, and how to use data to drive business decisions
  • Demonstrated track record in developing and executing A / B tests, analyzing and translating data into business and consumer insights
  • Ability to be both strategic and tactical in order to prioritize opportunities, test, and implement successful campaigns
  • Creative and empathetic thinker; you care deeply about our users and can build precise targeting for them
  • Comfortable interpreting results and communicating insights effectively to stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Experience working with data visualization tools (like Tableau)
  • Basic understanding of email HTML
  • Strong grasp of marketing strategies that create personalized journeys for prospects
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, specifically with Field Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Marketing Analytics, and Marketing Operations

You will work closely with the Fin Ops Leadership team and their assistants to ensure your executives can align on schedules, follow-ups and other matters to ensure they are available to make business decisions in a timely and efficient manner.

The right candidate will be able to balance the needs and requirements of their executive as well as other stakeholders and be ready to pitch-in wherever necessary.
