Bartender - Day Shift
Responsibilities
- Greet and communicate with all guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Insure prompt expedient and courteous service to all guests and visitors to the outlet at all times.
- Smile and show genuine interest in the guests’ needs or questions and always attempt to accommodate any reasonable request.
- Receive and understand beverage orders and repeat them back to the guest and / or servers for accuracy.
- Maintain an updated knowledge of the brands of beer, wine and liquors being offered for consumption.
- Know the ingredients to the most commonly asked for cocktails and specialty drinks, the garnishes they require, the proper glassware for them and the current prices.
- Properly mix the drinks, set for presentation and serve the desired alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as requested by the guest and / or the cocktail servers.
- Adhere to, enforce and practice all alcoholic beverage laws, policies, and regulations.
- Circulates through the assigned bar area on a continuous basis to provide superior guest service.
- Contact the Beverage Manager / Supervisor on duty for any guest related issues, if unable to assist in finding an agreeable solution to the defined issue.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, free of dirty glassware, ashtrays, beer bottles, and dispose of other trash.
- Abide by the established standards for health, safety and continual side work duties.
- Ability to and willingness to work as a Team.
- Increase revenue by suggestive sell
- Decrease expenses through proper handling of product.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls;
reach with hands and arms; talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Alcohol Awareness Card Required.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
- Maintain an updated knowledge of the brands of beer, wine and liquors being offered for consumption.
- Know the ingredients to cocktails and specialty drinks, the garnishes they require, the proper glassware for them.
- Continuously watch for signs of intoxication for the protection and enjoyment of all guests.
- Ability to bend, lift or carry goods weighing up to 50lbs on a continuous schedule.
- Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and awkward positions, requiring standing, crouching, kneeling, stooping, and reaching overhead for extended periods of time.
- Manual dexterity of hand in order to use corkscrew, knives, and ice scoop.

Casino Shift Manager
Responsibilities
- Constantly review staffing needs and recommend increase / decrease in staffing levels to coincide with business demands.
- Identify signage problems and notifying proper departments to correct.
- Assist in resolving Team Member issues, responsible for motivating Team Members to ensure they are providing quality service.
- Assist Managers and Supervisors to ensure that the operation is being managed in accordance with company standards.
- Maintain an active presence on the casino floor at all times.
- Works hand in hand with security to ensure the safety of guests and Team Members.
- Actively promotes Atlantis tournaments, promotions and events.
- Resolves guest complaints and assists with guest incidents.
- Provides regular communication with all levels of management with recommendations on improving effectiveness of operations.
- Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls;
reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel crouch or crawl; talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications
- State of Nevada Gaming License Required.
- Nevada Alcohol Awareness Card Required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and administrative skills.
- Working knowledge of resort and hospitality operations including casino games, hotel and restaurants.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Minimum 3 years management experience in a Table Games and Casino operations.
- Able to remain calm under work pressure.

Security Officer
Responsibilities
- Maintains public order, enforces safety rules, and protects; Guests Team Members, Property and Assets.
- Keeps alert for undesirables, persons under 21 and reports unusual occurrences to Assistant Security Shift Manager or above.
- Provides escort for certain cash transactions and services as a runner for pit fills and credits.
- Acquires knowledge of procedures regarding all warning devices.
- Provides independent departmental participation in procedures and transactions affecting the casino related departments.
- Acts as an ambassador for Atlantis and provides public relations and information service for the property.
- Performs other duties as requested or assigned
