Coors Distributing Company (CDC) is one of the nation’s leading beer distributors based out of Denver, CO. We are the critical link between our brewery suppliers that produce the beer and the retail outlets where they are sold, as well as the restaurants and bars where they are consumed.

We were founded in 1971 and became a MillerCoors LLC in 2008 as part of the joint venture between Miller Brewing Company and Coors Brewing Company, and we remain the only company owned distributor for Molson Coors Beverage Company.

Major brand acquisitions occurred in January of 2010 making Coors Distributing Company one of the top 25 largest beer distributors in the country with over 30 suppliers, roughly 14 million cases per year, and nearly 400 employees.

The Headlines :

The Delivery Supervisor in Denver, CO is responsible leading a team to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of product to retailers within an assigned territory in the Denver Front Range area.

This position reports to the Delivery Manager.

The Responsibilities :

  • Performance & Talent Management (50%)
  • Direct and oversee delivery driver team working on various routes throughout territory in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Responsible for all people management-related processes, including staffing, performance management and discipline, time system management, communications / team meetings, etc.

  • Conduct and / or make sure that the Driver Lead is giving feedback to the Trainee.
  • Ride with and evaluate trainees. Make decision to approve training or assign additional training based on Trainee performance against standards.
  • Must have monthly team meetings and monthly 1x1’s around goals and current performance.
  • Communicate changes to company policies and procedures as well as all DOT regulations.
  • Document coaching conversations, performance or behavioral issues, attendance concerns, etc after verbally communicating with employees.
  • Have knowledge of and understand all CDC policies and apply them consistently across the team
  • Provide feedback and coaching to individuals on career paths, opportunities within and how they can continue to build capability and skills to achieve their personal goals.
  • Compliance & Safety Leadership (20%)
  • Lead safe behaviors by leading by example, sharing all injuries are preventable philosophies, and identifying risky behaviors while performing work-withs with individuals on team.

Address unsafe behaviors and utilize performance management tools to coach, correct, and manage.

  • Address patterns, trends and multiple occurrences through use of corrective action process
  • Identify process improvements to ensure the safety of our drivers while managing to a budget
  • Investigate incidents and complete Management Safety Analysis in a timely fashion.
  • Relationship Management (20%)
  • Act as liaison between Drivers, Sales Reps, and Retailers
  • Assist with escalated issues between Drivers and Retailers
  • Quality Assurance (10%)
  • Maintain quality control processes within team through scheduled or random audits.
  • Be consistent in holding individuals accountable for performance concerns with non-rotated beer, old beer and / or breakage.
  • Communicate expectations and provide coaching when issues arise and additional training is required.

  • Must be physically capable of handling and delivering on average between 500 and 1,000 - 30 lb. cases every day and be capable of lifting up to 165 lbs. throughout day.
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, transportation, business or related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience as a Delivery Driver in a consumer product distribution environment, preferably in the beer business.
  • Must have working knowledge of the applicable local, state and Federal laws associated with the sale and delivery of alcohol products.
  • Must have working knowledge of DOT regulations & OSHA requirements
  • This position requires a valid Colorado Class A driver’s license and MVR must fall within the MillerCoors Pre-Employment Background Screening Guidelines.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule, including early, late and weekends. Schedule will be published monthly one month in advance.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization as well as retailers.
  • Ability to effectively communicate via email, text or phone
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word and Power Point required.
  • Requires face-to-face contact with customers in the market.
  • May assist with route relief and open route coverage as needed
  • Requires driving and working in all types of weather conditions
  • Delivery locations may include tight storage areas, varying temperatures and require taking product up or down stairs

In the role of in the role of a Systems Security Engineer working in Milwaukee, WI you will be part of the North American IT team .

This person is someone who enjoys security work and possesses deep and broad expertise in cyber security. You will endeavor to secure MCBC systems by protecting system boundaries, keeping computer systems and network devices hardened against attacks and securing highly sensitive data.

As the primary security system expert, you will be expected to maintain and improve security systems to support expected business risk outcomes to various stakeholders.

This position reports to Sr IT Security Manager and works closely with IT Security and solutions architecture, network, engineering, and server teams across multiple geographical locations.

The Responsibilities :

  • Engineer, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to identify and define system security requirements. Design computer security architecture and develop detailed cyber security designs.
  • Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols.
  • Provide Tier-2 support on security infrastructure devices and security solutions.
  • Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks.
  • Ensure timely report about any known security incidents.
  • Assist with evaluating and recommend IT security solutions.
  • Prepare and document IT security compliance reports.

The Other Qualifications :

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science OR equivalent experience (4+ years) in the field of information security or security engineering
  • You have at least 5+ years experience in Information Technology or Cyber Security
  • You are familiar with implementation and managing IT security tools and capabilities
  • Certifications such as CISSP, GISP, GSEC, CEH desired
  • Hands on experience in security systems, including SIEM, SOAR, EDR, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc
  • Experience in building and maintaining security systems supporting multiple platforms and applications
  • Experience with at least 2 of the following programming languages such as Python, Perl, C / C++, PowerShell, etc.
  • Familiarity with web-related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service-Oriented Architectures) and of network / web related protocols.

In the role of Unit Manager - Warehouse working in Milwaukee, WI you will be part of the Customer Service & Supply team in brewery operations.

Leads and motivates an overall operational team for the effective operation, quality, asset care, and optimization work of a distribution business unit.

Utilizes MillerCoors World Class Supply Chain 2.0 initiatives and work practices which contribute to world class standards of operation through monitoring and evaluating SPQSCR to continuously improve performance.

Responsible for budget and cost management of the business unit.

Builds and develops a team of employees in the areas of technical and leadership development. Responsible for a team of direct and indirect reports in the warehouse.

Leads and promotes an inclusive and engaging environment.

Possess a proven track record of achievement in a high speed, high volume manufacturing environment.

Demonstrable evidence of driving World Class Supply Initiatives to deliver on challenging objectives.
