We are seeking a person with 1-2 years experience in a high volume restaurant as a barback or backwaiter. The ideal candidate is both hard-working and reliable, with open availability.

Miss Lily's 7A Rum Bar is looking for a dynamic bartender with great people skills and open availability to start immediately.

All candidates must have at least 1+ years experience in a high volume restaurant or bar. The ideal candidate has gracious hospitality, a strong work ethic, and a background in / passion for Caribbean cuisine and culture.

Switched-on, smart, energetic, charismatic host with presence wanted at Miss Lily's 7A 109 Avenue A, at 7th St in the East Village.

Looking for the following qualities :

Available to work 10-5PM at weekends, as well as some evening shifts at weekends 4-11PM. If you do not have weekend availability I'm afraid that's a deal breaker.

We also have shifts available for week night evenings - availability for these can be flexible.

People person - we need someone who knows how to talk people, addressing guests with respect ALL times, always professional and mindful of their choice or words and style of communication.

At 7A we need our host to be gracious and humble at all times, while at the same time RUNNING a very busy door not allowing the guests to run them.

Ability to take control of a busy door and waitlist. Must be sharp, aware, organized and methodical.

1 years prior experience running a busy door at a high volume restaurant very much preferred. Ability to 'read the floor' and RESY experience is desired.

Work well under pressure and has a sense of urgency. Whilst always being charming with the guests - it is necessary that our host is able to process information quickly.

This is a very busy door at 7A, with a high volume of guests coming at you - be prepared to be on the spot and be ready to communicate with management at all times, working as a team to get the job done.

• At least 2 year experience of table service in a high volume restaurant in a big city or very busy resort.
• Great people skills - charisma and etiquette. Understand what it means to treat all guests and coworkers with the upmost respect.
• Be comfortable wearing bright and vibrant clothing (to get an idea of our dress code check our Ig @MissLilys
• Knowledge of Jamaican cuisine and world rums is a bonus - must be ready to learn about these in detail.

We are a Jamaican restaurant and bar with a late night scene. We serve Jamaican cuisine. In the summer we have outdoor seating in the heart of the East Village.

We are located at 109 Avenue A, at 7th St - there is an OPEN-CALL THURSDAY MARCH 9th 1-5PM
