Objective

The pilot in command falls under the flight crew division of the charter flight operations and is responsible for providing outstanding service to charter customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company procedures and FAA regulations.

The purpose of the flight operations department is to provide safe, secure, convenient air transportation in line with client demands.

The primary focus of the Million Air / American Jet team is saving lives, which provides a unique life style option to the typical 135 pilot with extended trips away from home and family.

The 135-charter fleet is made up of a variety of mid cabin aircraft. We will train in specific aircraft type with requisite hours.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Work to ensure safety is never compromised, working with the safety manager.

2. Greet customers in a friendly, professional manner. Develop a rapport with aircraft owners and passengers.

3. Inspect aircraft for cleanliness and upkeep prior to customer arrival

4. Communicate often and in a timely fashion in person, by phone, and by email. Advise flight ops of customer preferences.

This position reports to the Chief Pilot

Work Environment

This position operates in a professional environment, which may include exposure to all types of weather conditions and direct contact with both moving and non-moving aircraft.

This position includes varying duty schedules which requires working evenings and weekends, and on scheduled company holidays.

Scheduling flexibility a must

Travel

No travel expected outside of Pilot duties.

Required Education and Experience

  • Possess an ATP certificate preferred
  • Have acquired 2000 hours total time, and previous 135 experience preferred
  • Possess a valid 1st class medical
  • be or become highly knowledgeable of 14 CFR and FAA regulations
  • Meet the requirements of 14 CFR Part 135.243(a)(1) & (c)
  • Eligible for entry to Canada via CANPASS

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • Acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Zero tolerance drug free company
  • Must live within 45 minutes of base airport

Objective

Must have an A&P License - The Maintenance Controller will be a licensed A&P and will monitor aircraft due list and upcoming inspection using Traxxall, CAMP, Cescom, and Flight Docks for Part 135 fleet.

Responsible for the overall resolution to maintenance issues.

The responsibilities and duties will include but not be limited to the following :

  • Experience in sourcing and brokering aircraft preferred; Part 91 & 135 experience is a plus
  • Experience in developing and maintaining customer relationships

  • Grow our retail customer base by targeting new clients through networking and sales outreach
  • Utilize sales tools and drive our social media platforms to help attract and capture market share

Education, Experience, and Eligibility Qualifications

  • Airframe & Powerplant License.

Objective

The flight coordinator / scheduler is responsible for providing outstanding service to charter customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company procedures and ensure proper scheduling of all charter / owner flights as well as communicating effectively with customers, pilots, and team members within the flight department.

Maintain operational control of all flight activities associated with planning, scheduling, and ground handling of aircraft movements to expedite their completion with excellent service and safety in compliance with company and applicable regulations.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Charter sales duties to include answering incoming calls and quoting trips to new and existing customers

2. Greet customers in a friendly, professional manner

3. Schedule trips including crewing and coordination with ground support

4. Handle customer requests including setting up catering, transportation, hotels, etc.

5. Active flight following of all in-progress trips, review NOTAMS, weather, noise restrictions. Coordinate international flights as required

6. Monitor crew schedules, flight / duty / rest limitations

7. Administer and actively seek out company cost savings

8. Enter post flight information into charter software program for tracking purposes

9. Assist flight operations and charter sales with special projects and duties as assigned

4. Knowledge and experience with US customs entry / exit procedures as well as international handling preferred.

5. 2 years' experience in flight management / charter operations

6. High School Diploma required, prefer some college and / or Bachelor degree in aviation or related field
