Merit Logistics is looking for hardworking

Material Handlers to join a Pooler, GA team responsible for unloading containers

1st shift 6AM - 2 : 30PM - Monday to Friday.

Overtime is dependent on the volume

REQUIREMENTS :

• Ability to safely lift to 5-50 lbs consistently.
• Unload trucks by hand.
• Must be comfortable working in variable temperatures, at times can be hot.
• Background check required.
• Ability to work Monday through Saturday (Saturday’s are mandatory depending on volume)
• General warehouse experience preferred.
• Performing custodial functions, as necessary, to ensure cleanliness and safety of warehouse and unloading areas.
• Knowledge of equipment such as Pallet Jacks.
• Document and report damages and discrepancies to the supervisor.

Skills

• Proven working experience as a warehouse worker
• Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Current forklift license
• High school degree
