We are seeking a Driver Hospital Tripper to join our team at our program in Coraopolis, PA.
No experience required - we provide PAID training.
Earn $17.00 / hour with the selection of the Enhanced Pay Option.
Staff will be required to follow a designated routine and assignments as outlined by the HSS / AHSS. Escorts residents via Merakey / Allegheny Valley School vehicles or emergency vehicles to doctors' offices, health centers or emergency rooms.
Ensures safe transportation, i.e., secures wheelchairs and individuals in vehicles and supervises during transport. Develops and maintains professional rapport with personnel of doctors' offices, clinics and hospitals.
This is a non-professional position entailing the operation of the facilities motor vehicles while transporting individuals to and from medical appointments, trips, and to and from their residence to the program centers as designated.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
- A bachelor's degree in a related field or certification from an approved OT or PT Aide course preferred.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with team members.
- Ability to maintain all records with accuracy and to develop and maintain a working relationship with the Occupational therapist, Physical therapist, individuals and all staff.

As a member of our team, the Occupational Therapist will select and implement activities that will help individuals to learn work and life management skills within limits of their mental and physical disabilities.
You will work with IEP team members, clinicians, families, and program staff; using the multidisciplinary evaluation to create, develop, and implement individual and / or group therapy goals for each child as specified in the child's IEP.

Requirements
