The medical assistant is responsible for rooming patients, obtaining chief complaint and vitals, point of care testing, collection, labeling, and handling of specimens, logging patient demographic and visit information, and may be asked to perform injections and phlebotomy.
They may also be responsible for some administrative tasks such as answering phones.
Job Responsibilities
Candidates for this Medical Assistant position must be able to perform the following tasks :
