Warehouse Associate
Summary Duties include but are not limited to unloading trucks from outside vendors, loading truck for delivery to job sites, determining where all material is to be stored inside the warehouse, and performing quality assurance check prior to trucks leaving the warehouse.
Responsibilities
Operations Created with Sketch. Operations Ships material for jobsites per loading sheet. Removes inventory from WHConnect via work phones.
Receives material from outside vendors in WHConnect via work phones. Detailed work ethic to identify and label materials.
Stores material in an efficient manner. Logs hours spent on each job. Operates a forklift. Loads inventory to be returned to vendors.
Quality Assurance Created with Sketch. Quality Assurance Performs quality assurance checks on each delivery to ensure all material is loaded per the delivery ticket.
Responsible for assisting with maintaining a 5S score of 4.5 in the warehouse. Assists with other functions if time allows.
Assists with job site deliveries. Submits time ticket weekly to the Warehouse Supervisor for approval. Perform daily Safety Observations and submit Near Miss observations as applicable.
Cross-train and support Tool Room job responsibilities, as needed.
Requirements

JOB SUMMARY Mechanical Engineer will work in a team environment to design and develop commercial and light industrial HVAC, piping and plumbing systems.
The Mechanical Engineer will perform such tasks as load calculations, energy simulations, equipment selections and duct / piping / plumbing layouts.
The engineer will maintain communication with CAD detailers, other engineers, project managers and field personnel. DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Develop engineering scope for projects with Senior Engineers and Project Managers.
Perform detailed load calculations with Trane Trace 700® and interpret the results. Perform equipment selections to satisfy engineering scope and calculated load requirements.
Develop HVAC documents including, but not limited to, duct sizing & routing, air distribution selection, pipe sizing & routing.
Coordinate mechanical requirements with architects, electrical, structural & civil engineers. Develop Plumbing documents, including but not limited to, sanitary and vent sizing, domestic cold water and hot water sizing and pipe routings.
Ensure compliance of designs with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations. Perform life-cycle cost analysis among system alternatives to determine energy impacts of each alternative and assist in system selection.
Perform job site inspections and develop field reports. Clearly identify and meet our commitments to the customer (owners, general contractors, etc.
design / construction team members (architects, electrical engineers, other trade contractors, etc.) and internal customers.
Utilize Revit® 2018 (or higher) to support job responsibilities and document development. Provide input and technical guidance to CAD designers / drafters.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering technology (Preferably Mechanical Engineering). Registered Professional Engineer or plans to take the exam within 2 years.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the commercial HVAC arena. Minimum 5 years of experience of direct experience in the design and development of mechanical and plumbing systems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS An understanding of costs of mechanical systems and installation. Ability to convey technical requirements / systems in fundamental terms.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND CHARACTERISTICS Ability to represent McKenney's professionally and proficiently in meetings with customers.
Must have basic PC experience in Windows environments with demonstrated competency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
Web-enabled applications, and database software. Demonstrate a serious commitment to accuracy and quality while maintaining a strong focus on serving our clients, project managers, and field teams.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT : Work is normally performed in a typical interior / office environment. Work will require construction job site visits.
This will require the physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs and ladders, passenger use of construction personnel hoists and ability to negotiate work areas under construction.
